ONE Design & Contracting

I had Adam and Steve renovate my whole main floor which included full paint, flooring and remodeling the kitchen and powder room. From the very start with the estimate to the end of the project, these guys impressed me with their details, responsiveness and professionalism. They help you through the whole process and listen carefully to what you want. They provide suggestions on finishings, and we altered a few of our choices for the better because of that. The final product was exactly what we envisioned. They are constantly providing updates so you are always in the loop for timelines and any hiccups and/or suggested fixes. They finished on time despite a few late add on requests by us, so really they finished early. I was initially concerned with this renovation project, but it was a lot smoother than I thought and I think that is because we went with ONE Design and Contracting.

This was our first renovation. Full ensuite gut job. Everyone wants the end result to be amazing and Adam delivered just that. It's absolutely stunning and exactly what we had envisioned and hoped for, for 5 years! He planned everything out and was always thinking ahead knowing how one thing would affect another. From ensuring the best floor tile layout to matching shower tile grout lines in the niche. He perfectly centered everything to do with the vanity, mirrors and lights taking care to ensure heights where appropriate and the lines of the shiplap tied in. He even took on a custom back-lit mirror project for us!Apart from all of his detailed work and the end beautiful result, there is more behind the scenes of a renovation that you must consider when hiring a contactor and this is where I can't stress enough Adam and ONE Design & Contracting was an absolute dream to work with. Throughout the renovation, I worked from home. He was respectful of my work space, of my home, of the strata rules and always made sure our indoor cat was safe inside. Our neighbours even commented on how conscientious he was. He showed up when he said he would and touched base with me every morning to let me know what he planned to do and let me know what he accomplished at the end of the day. He cleaned up his work spaces everyday and protected our hardwood floors. He was very easy to communicate with and answered all of my many questions. Adam is happy and positive person who was a pleasure to have in my house. He really enjoys the work he does. We were so thrilled with the whole experience that we already asked him to do our kitchen renovation!

Kitchen renovation. Adam and Steve, two very enthusiastic young men who were a great help in guiding me through my new kitchen renovation. They had wonderful ideas, were very cost effective and great at communicating. Clean, professional, punctual with a great work ethic. Adam is very upbeat, Steve more serious but with great attention to detail. I would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.

Adam and Steve took my 90’s bathroom - complete with green laminate counters - and brought it back to life, from top to bottom.My husband and I were impressed from day 1. They are knowledgeable, skilled, friendly, professional, and punctual. They have an eye for detail, pointing out things I didn’t even consider, for example taking the shower tile to the ceiling creating a more seamless look and moving the shower head to accommodate a rain shower if we wanted to switch later.They are incredibly responsive and organized, which I highly appreciate. They take great care in their work and it shows.In the end, the bathroom turned out BETTER than I had envisioned! The entire renovation process couldn’t have been smoother. We can’t wait for them to renovate our ensuite.

They are great communicators and perform their task according to the plan they create with you and let you know the progress along the way without hesitation.
