We had an excellent experience at Schreiter's with all the furniture we purchased for our new Condo. Our salesperson Nicole was extremely helpful but not pushy. She just wanted us to be happy with our choices. The store has a wonderful selection of high-quality furniture.

We secured design services from Lauren at Schreiter's to design and plan for a few spaces in our new home. We really enjoyed the design experience from start to finish, and must credit Lauren because she was an absolute pleasure and pro to work with! She did a great job capturing the look and feel that we were hoping for in the home. Highly recommend :) Lauren incorporated some of the furniture we already owned into the plan, and we appreciated that.We purchased several furniture suggestions from the plan: a boucle chair, side tables, dressers, pull-out sofa-bed, an oversized piece of art to our wall .. we're super happy with how our space turned out. Delivery day was exciting, and the team that delivered the furniture was very positive and professional. We have the PDF + print-outs of the design plan and we refer to them pretty often as we aim to complete the look!

We have ordered chairs and as all stores have experienced, there have been some unavoidable delays. Our situation is to have a chair for my husband for post surgery. Ryan knows how important this is to us and he provides regular follow ups regarding the shipping progress. He can’t change circumstances, but getting updates helps us to plan. We have never ordered from Schweitzer’s previously, but have come to appreciate their high standards of customer service. We really appreciate his attention to our situation. Thank you Ryan!

We purchased some furniture for our living room, basement room and bedroom from Schreiter’s. Lauren was great to work with - she really made things easy for us. The delivery process was excellent as well - the gentlemen handling the delivery really took care inside our home and somehow wrestled a gigantic mirror up the stairs and into a corner room - it was no easy feat! When we recently had a minor issue with one of the items Schreiter’s custom ordered for us, they had it fixed promptly. We love all the items we purchased and highly recommend Schreiter’s.

I recently purchased new furniture for my living room with Lauren’s assistance. She was extremely helpful sales associate and interior decorator. Lauren created a visual board with our existing space to ensure our purchases were the right fit. She made great suggestions with fabric selection and colours. I would highly recommend Schreiter’s furniture and suggest asking for Lauren to help you.

We have a midcentury modern cottage on Lake Huron, and we were looking to replace the original chairs that had come with it 20 years ago. With Ryan's expert guidance at Schreiter's, we decided on 4 Calligaris chairs that totally enhance the room. We are thrilled! We are also delighted with the midcentury modern sofa we chose for the living room--it looks great and the price was totally reasonable. I've added a nod to our Finnish heritage by tucking a woolen blanket from Lapuan Kankurit [Finland] on the cushions. Soo comfy! Happy clients!

Shopping for our new sofa at Schreiters was both relaxing and fun! Ryan was so knowledgeable and patiently guided us through the different styles and fabric, even sending home some fabric samples with us. He also was able accommodated a last minute leg colour change, guaranteeing that we got the perfect sofa for us.

Just a great, great store! If you're looking for a unique experience furniture shopping, Schreiter's is where you want to start. Beautiful inventory, interesting and timeless items and great, friendly service. The vintage pieces used as decor bring an element to the store that I haven't seen elsewhere. The first time I walked into Schreiter's I fell in love. They carry beautiful products and it's all tastefully displayed. Just gorgeous furniture!! In November of 2019 I ordered 3 Wharton Counter Stools from Four Hands Furniture through Shreiter's and picked them up late December. I didn't pay much attention till the lockdowns happened and the kids and I were home more often. I noticed the coating on 2 of the chairs peeling off. I can accept the foot bar even though no one wears shoes and it's the kids who mostly sit on them but 2 of the top bars, from pushing the chairs in and out? I phoned Schreiter's April of 2022 and sent pictures and they forwarded them to Four Hands. Seeing as it's almost August, I emailed the other day to asked what was happening and Schreiter's told me that Four Hands deemed them as wear and tear and they are not covered under warranty because it has been over 2 years. What is sad is that I purchased these chairs through Schreiter's so I feel they should back up their products instead of writing we are waiting to hear from Four Hands to see if there is a product or process that can be used to repair and protect going forward. Once I hear from Four Hands
