The WORST after install custom service.The installed the system incorrectly, coolant leaked, compressor failed.Now charging me 2k of labour on warranty parts.The records were never sent to me and now dont exist.The best part is the Manager screaming on the phone, calling me a liar and hanging up on me.

We spent $135,000 for our plumbing and heating in our new build. Within 4 years the heat pump Westbay sold us has total compressor failure and a cost of repair of $8100 for an item which normally would have a warranty of 5 to 10 years. I can’t even get them to return my phone call. Emailed the owner 2x, nicely, he won’t even delegate a call back to some sales guy or call us directly. This heat pump hasn’t worked all winter and not one person at Westbay cares, customer service is atrocious. Susan

West Bay Mechanical and Nico were very responsive/timely. Nico's professionalism, knowledge, and personable nature contributed to providing top-notch service in fixing our air conditioning/heat pump. We will not hesitate to call on West Bay Mechanical again, if we need to in the future.

We had a heat pump installed and they did a great job. The estimate was pretty close to the actual price. Some things had to change and it was a bit more expensive, but they explained very thoroughly the reasons why, so in the end they did a proper job that was in the best interest of our home. Got a few estimates and the price was very reasonable. We would recommend.

Just got our new heat pump and inverters installed. The installers were on time, professional, courteous, and tidy. Both the external and internal installs look great. Then they did a thorough job of explaining how to operate and maintain the system once completed. There was a very minor electrical issue the following day and within a couple hours, an electrician was here to flip the switch on the panel and, while here, he explained and fixed another issue that was unrelated (bonus!). We are very happy with the results and would recommend West Bay to others. We will also consider them for other HVAC needs.

The crew was at our home installing 2 heat pump units. I can't say enough about the install crew, they were professional, extremely friendly and informative. Great guys!

My Daiken Heat Pump failed on February 11th. Only 20 months in service. It has been five weeks since the failure and was told I had to wait another 4 weeks for service with no guarantee of that either. Westbay blames Daiken, but I didn't buy it from Daiken, I bought it from Westbay with a 12 year guarantee. I realize the parts folks are doing their best. My wife and I are wearing extra clothing to stay warm. How can this be acceptable to any customer? They have provided no options for me. I have recommended Westbay to several friends who have purchased units. I hope they are treated better.

Awesome same day service. Our hot water tank broke, Rob came out the same day and replaced the old one with a new one under warranty. He was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

WBM from Victoria recently installed a heat pump at our home. The service from start to finish went super smoothly. Joel visited our home to survey options and provide our quotation. He came with great advice on the configuration and was good at explaining what we would get. Tiffany and Duncan in the office were quick to respond with info and next steps. Patrick, Mark and James came around for two days to install our ductless mini-split units and checked in with me as needed through the process. All in all a very professional team! We are very happy with our new system for heating and cooling, and are looking forward to coolly facing any heat dome and a significantly reduced winter heating bill!

We contracted West Bay to install our heat pump. The initial rough-in was completed in April 2022 and, like many people, the units we ordered got caught up in supply-chain delays - it wasn't until November 2022 that the install was completed.Once the team was on site, they were fast/professional and focused on the quality of their work which was great!We are very happy with out choice of West Bay and the units they installed - so much better than baseboard electric!One suggestion I do have is if units are caught up in shipping delays, please make an effort to reach out at least monthly with an update - even if it is to say we are still waiting". Having to prompt for an update isn't ideal."
