Pretty poor execution for a Sobeys. Mandy on cash 1 refused to provide a raincheck for fresh lean ground beef burger patties and corn on the cob tonight, front page items that were out of stock, claiming they don't issue rainchecks for produce or meat items. I've never heard of that policy. The other sobeys in Peterborough issues rainchecks for produce and meat, as long as requested quantities are reasonable. I prefer the Metro across the street.

Giving 2 stars because the staff is AWESOME, deserving a strong 5.I would however give a 0 star to Sobeys head office for introducing Scene card. Not only It's another card change, but my issue is this: GIVING BETTER GROCERY PRICES TO SCENE CARD MEMBERS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Last week I saw two pricings on some items, this for the Scene members and that for the non members... This is grocery guys, not cinema popcorn!!! Points cards, ok... not better prices to members. You are not CostCo are you? We are in very tough times with inflation/recession, certinaly a bad timing to 'force' a part of your customers to switch cards and get better pricing. It's just wrong. I have been a customer for decades and as long as you push this unethical approach in store I won't go back.To the staff at Towerhill Sobeys, wishing you an awesome Holiday SeasonCheers,

( old review updated) Whole Beef Tenderloin . 10 dollars a pound . Stocked up for steaks . service here is always friendly. Update . Back again today and I must say they have the friendliest cachiers . Fresh produce. Great selection. And a very clean store. Keep up the great work .

Love shopping hear! Great produce, deli abd fresh meats, as well as hot counter. Such a wide variety of services and products. Store is clean and well organized. Parking is easy and close to the entrance. Recommend!

Sobey's Towerhill has most everything I need grocery-wise, including specialty items that I can't find at other grocery stores. They have a good selection of foreign import items (Mexican, East European, Indian etc), plus they carry fresh dandelion greens which no other store carries. The staff are friendly and helpful. Having said all that, they tend to be pricier than their competitors overall.

Was here in July/August to order flowers for our daughters wedding. The lady in the floral department was very sweet, and helpful in getting what our girl was after. She knew her florals and her department well. Booked an hour long appointment with her to discuss brides wishes, at which time she took notes and ordered the florals/stems she wanted, gave pricing information etc. Very organized.Would recommend dealing with her for your floral needs.

The produce is much better than other places. Weirdly enough, I was looking to buy one lobster for a treat and despite 5 people working around the seafood area, the seafood guy wasn't in so they couldn't sell me one. I guess lifting a lobster or off the tank requires specialized training??
