Dr. Navraj Heran

Let me start by saying it had been 13+ years since I have felt my left hand. I thought I wouldn’t ever again. On day 3 of recovery I woke up and could feel my hand. Dr. Heran is my personal hero and words can’t say how thankful I am. ❤️

I copied that line from the site where he removed my review .sorry but it can't stop me witting the truth about Dr Heran ! such an unprofessional doctor !! no sympathy at all towards patients . My mom is 66 year old and he did the aneurysm removed surgery . not only surgery went bad ! she also had a stroke during the procedure and no-one notified us. Its a disgrace and very unprofessional behavior ! our mom is a changed person ! her emotions have been so much effected . We feel like our mother is totally a different person . I request every one to read and think over and over going to him . He removes all his negative reviews .I would never recommend him.He is the most emotion less person . God has given you talent ! use it wisely

Did a lifesaving craniotomy for me and didn’t shave my head or leave a scar. Dr Heran is personable and caring. I can’t thank you enough (and your amazing team) for saving my life.

Dr Heran treated our mother in dec . He is a shrewd doctor who doesn’t care about the patients ! Our mom was kept in recovery room for so many hours . We were waiting for her outside ! She had a stroke in between but on one notified us ! We can never forget our bad experience with him . I would never recommend him to anyone . Please do your best research before going to him . He doesn’t have any emotions !! No consideration towards his patients ! Dr heran you are a human first before doctor !! Treat your patients wisely

Dr Heron took care of our mother almost 18 years ago and I still think of him with respect and thanks.Our family were making the most difficult decisions and through all our turmoil he was patient and understanding. A calm voice in a whirl of emotions. Mom's diagnosis was a massive brain bleed. Dr Heron never wavered from speaking to all of us--giving us the options and outcomes.He and the Neuro team at RCH worked into the night to do everything he could to save her.Never once did we not believe he did his very best in a catastrophic medical situation. I am writing this --much belatedly-to say Dr Heron is skilled, caring and compassionate to Mom and all of us.I would highly recommend him to you and your familyTHANK YOU Dr Heron!!!!Barbara McGuire

Nearly 20 years ago Dr. Heran performed brain surgery on my Dad after he suffered from a burst aneurysm in his 50s. My wonderful Dad recovered and lived on to eventually sell his business and retire, travel with my mom, become a grandfather 3x over, and celebrate a beautiful 50th wedding anniversary with all of us last year.I have been meaning to share his story so you know how truly grateful we are.Thank you, Dr. Heran and team at RCH for saving his life and blessing us with extra decades of love and time together ❤️

I was lucky enough to have this Surgeon working with me on TWO separate occasions. I recently had ACDF surgery with Dr. Heran. Throughout the process with my spine, there was an incidental finding of an inter cranial aneurysm. Dr. Heran’s skilled and knowledgeable background afforded him the ability him to perform these two major surgeries wonderfully for me. His demeanour for follows ups is great and he helps to give you confidence to return to better health. My dealings in general with his clinic and assistant Crystal have been steadfast and wonderful. Crystal is very kind and helped to get both of my surgeries booked at a very reasonable time, considering the state of our system. I highly recommend Dr. Heran.

Exceptional, nothing comes close to describing the care Dr.Herran provided to me. He went out of his way to meet my requirements for surgery and his office was always in communication with me. I had him give me a second opinion on my original resection of my brain tumor. Dr.Herran was SO confident he could do better, when my original surgeon couldn't. This comes down to experience. My oncologists were HIGHLY against another operation as it was high probability of vision loss, But with MINIMAL vision lost what so ever he removed 35-40% more than the original surgeon was comfortable removing's would not settle for anything less than this DR.

I can’t even begin to describe the appalling treatment I received from this so-called doctor. I have no doubt he is a great surgeon, but he has no business doing ICBC medical exams. No empathy, zero compassion. A few highlights: He spoke into his voice recorder the entire time and essentially read off my patient questionnaire. He didn’t ask me a single question before telling me several times that ICBC was going to laugh in my face, said I’m my own worst enemy (???), told me that the RMT and the Physio that I was doing was “essentially useless” and to stop all of my treatments and get back to normal life because continuing my appointments “breeds a victim mentality”… If I could stop treatments and go back to normal life, I wouldn’t be here!! Zero questions about my life prior to my MVA, zero questions as to whether or not I felt RMT and Physio were helping. Originally said that I couldn’t have possibly had a concussion at the time of the accident because “that doesn’t happen”, only to read the doctor report from the date of the accident and say “Oh, that does sound like a concussion”. Formally recommended that I fire my counsellor (again, without asking a single question as to if I felt that therapy was helpful). I left the appointment in tears, feeling so demoralized and feeling robbed of my chance to prove my case to ICBC because of this robot. If your lawyer sets you up with an ICBC Medical Exam with this joker, please learn from my mistake and get them to change it ASAP.
