Very good breakfast. Egg Benedict with duck confit is on point. The healthy breakfast comes with a delicious granola with the best Greek yogurt you can get. The place is big and there is plenty of room in the afternoon after the big brunch rush. The servers are also super nice. Nightly recommended

I went there with my girlfriends on a Sunday afternoon to hang out and eat brunch. It was beyond my expectations. What a cool vibe & energy. The waiter was friendly, kind, and patient. The food was exceptional and personal. I loved it.

The cozy ambiance coupled with the tantalizing aroma of freshly prepared dishes was an excellent prelude to the culinary adventure that awaited. The highlight of my breakfast was the Avocado Toast. Every bite was a celebration of flavor and texture, with perfectly ripe avocado layered on a crispy toast - a simple yet impactful combination that was deliciously satisfying. The restaurant also offers an interesting range of unique chocolate options, which were an absolute treat. From the first bite, it's clear these are no ordinary confections but a thoughtfully curated selection of chocolate experiences. Each variant brought something new and exciting to the palate, making them a must-try for any chocolate aficionado. The staff at Le Cartet were commendable, providing insightful suggestions and attentive service throughout my visit. Their boutique section was a delightful surprise too, housing an array of unique items that added an extra touch to the overall experience.Le Cartet Resto Boutique is more than just a restaurant - it's a place where quality, creativity, and hospitality intersect to provide a memorable experience. Whether you're a local or a tourist, a foodie, or simply someone looking for a great place to start your day, Le Cartet Resto Boutique is the place to go.

The food was great. I loved the pancake a bit more syrup would have been nice.Service was great as well.Wasn't a fan of the tables it felt like I was in high school sitting beside other people. I didn't have that intimate vibe.Overall, I would go again and get a table separate from everyone.

I went for a brunch on Sunday. The Salted Caramel Latte was too sweet. The Nordic brunch was delicious. The ambiance is good. Quite occupied. Caring staff. Good food.

Underrated breakfast! Plenty of outdoor seating, the servers were polite and it was very family-friendly. The Pain aux chocolat/amandes was exquisite!

Eggs benedict was good but the caramelized onions were too sweet. The grilled cheese sandwich was great but I think it’s overpriced at $18.25.Espresso was really good. Dark hot chocolate was underwhelming though. The cocoa taste was light and didn’t taste dark.Really friendly staff.

This is a classic French bistro style breakfast/brunch...and we have visited many times over the years. It's a fun and vibrant setting (with seating sometimes communal...although they do have a number of smaller 2 person tables lining the wall). The staff are extremely friendly and engaging which will help get you going in the morning. The menu recently changed...we had bagel with smoked salmon, the avo toast and a delicious pancake with strawberries and blueberry compote. All very good and tasty. Generally speaking we have not had a bad meal at Le Cartet so you are in safe hands. The only downside is that the cost has increased over the years so it is a little pricey for what it is worth...but it is still a fun time and worth a visit. Enjoy!

Been here twice now and loved it both times! First time I had the salmon bene, second time I had the avocado toast. A classic! Both times service was excellent - however our first visit our server spoke to us in 5 different languages - and was charming in all of them!!!! How is that even possible??? Had a great time and will be a regular brunch spot whenever I am in MTL.
