I had a lovely evening with my adult kid….our conversation and the lovely view made the evening. Unfortunately, we were also there for dinner. We weren’t greeted. I made my way to the bar, to be told to go upstairs to eat outside (the only option). It was a beautiful, a bit muggy, night so we were glad to do so. Not sure if anyone who can’t take humidity would do.We went upstairs and asked if it was self-seating. The poor waitress indicated the only free table, that had cleaning materials on it. No biggie to us. We sat and talked for a bit, and she finally came to us to take away the cleaning products and to let us know that about half the menu wasn’t available, and neither was many alcoholic drinks. We were fine with that, and my kid ordered nachos very plain (just cheese) and I ordered the pasta with double-smoked bacon and chicken (instead of shrimp…that I’m allergic to). I, eventually received my beautiful meal with the thick pieces of bacon…but covered in shrimp. I had ti ask for another and the waitress was almost in tears. She said the meal would be taken off the bill. My kid got their nachos and my pasta came out at the same time, without the beautiful double bacon. Our waitress had indicated to another table that she was overwhelmed with the amount of tables and zero help. We felt badly for her. She came to let us know that she was not feeling great and was going home. The (maybe?) manager took over by getting us our to-go boxes and the bill. The bill had my meal on it. I had to explain to the manager what had happened with my meal, and that the waitress who left had said it wouldn’t be in the bill. She understood and adjusted the bill. I really hope that this restaurant can figure out proper staffing and menu handling. For such a small menu, it’s crazy how much wasn’t available.

The restaurant was severely understaffed. No one to greet us and we sit ourselves after having to figure out on our own the umbrellas outside wasn't working properly we decided to sit indoors. The food was bland and horrible. We literally could not eat the food. Our waiter was beautiful and simply caring about our experience. She saw we did t eat the food and discounted out bill. What was shame the service and food is not up to standarda for since a nice location.

Walked into the restaurant at 3:45pm and now it’s 4:20pm and we have only been given a crumpled up drinks menu. They said we would have to wait 20 minutes for the actual menu and yet here I am sitting at the same table still waiting for the said menu. I’ve been here once before and was turned away because of some event that wasn’t even occupying the first floor, and now with this second visit, it’ll be the nail in the coffin and I am definitely not coming back to this “restaurant” if you can even call it a restaurant. I do not recommend anyone come here, just go to the food trucks to have better food, better service, and a better atmosphere.

First patio outing from the lockdown and decided to try this place since we’ve never been. I did enjoy their pear pizza with Gorgonzola cheese and our hostess was very nice. My only concern is that one of the waitress giving us our food did not have her mask on properly. She fully put her mask down while serving our food which makes me not want to go back again. I know it’s tough for restaurants now but things like this must be done properly as someone who wants to feel safe eating at a restaurant.

We came for lunch on the patio on a beautiful sunny Wednesday afternoon. Unfortunately they were out of everything but 5 menu options. We came for the extensive online menu. For such a beautiful spot, we feel it’s poorly managed. It could be so great! One waitress who was great at trying to balance all the tables, but they definitely need more staff. It’s disappointing that Pickering still can’t get these beautiful water front restaurants going. It’s a perfect spot but we’d only go for drinks again or be prepared to wait extensively for your meal.

So I had originally come to this restaurant several years ago because of the location and vicinity to Frenchman’s bay. Wasn’t the greatest experience because the service was sloppy and the food being bland.Fast forward to 2022 it looks like much hasn't changed.The Bad:- Youre left waiting for a long period of time to be seated- wait staff don't manage the tables well and often left tables sitting and waiting on them- waiting 30 mins to get two drinks- Drinks and Draught were flat & stale- Food was bland and lacked flavour- Very limited Menu and limited optionsThe Good:- Second floor Patio View of the waterfront- Vicinity to the waterfront- Dont need to make reservations and doesn't seem busy- Ample Parking- Renovations make the place look much better

First patio experience in over a year.Waitress was nice.We were the only ones in the lower level patio.Yes, the service was very relaxed....After a while we got served.Firstly , water was good and cold. Thank you!So too was the beer. Aaah, nice!It was wonderful having a nice cold draft.Then I noticed the glass for my wife's wine was chipped, and had crack a quarter of the way down the bowl of the glass. So... we got that fixed.We had the Buffalo wings.Asked for extra hot. I'm still looking for the Buffalo sauce? They were breaded in some panko with a splash of Frank's. I think?But were also tossed in a little bit of blue cheese salad dressing. Nowhere on the menu did it mention blue cheese?And they were cold.I would rename the wings, Buffalo in the middle of winter wings. The shoestring fries were ok, not great.Buy the time the girl came back it was too late to ask for salt and vinegar.I ordered a second beer...Turns out that I had the last glass of my first choice.So I had to switch brews.While waiting for the second round.. low and behold. My chair fell apart???Fun stuff.

Great experience. Went on a Monday so it was very empty. The second floor has a great patio with beautiful views of the lake. Very spacious interior with well spaced out tables. Service was great and fast. Food was ok. Portions could have been bigger for the price but the cheap drinks made up for it.

The place was very empty for a lunch on Friday. It has potential to be a great venue but it doesn't feel like it has much attention put into it. The menu is very small and not what we expected, and the value for price wasn't great. Maybe I was there at a bad time. They were very good with dietary restrictions at my table. The location is great, the service was fast, but it can definitely use some work on the menu and hopefully more people will visit.

Great view, friendly staff who were very attentive. The best calamari I've ever had. Everything we ate was amazing. It would be nice if you added umbrellas to the tables that weren't protected under the shade.
