Dollarama

Saturday January 14th, 5:35pm, the lady at checkout was awful, and rude, she was almost throwing things at our face. She doesn't deserve to work, it is unacceptable to act like that with clients. Many people would do better than her. We will definitely never go back to this location.

Well stocked, plenty of good merchandise and lots of free parking

I like dollarama in general, and prefer it over other dollar stores. They have a great selection of gardening supplies and I always purchase a large amount of seeds here. I noticed the gardening gloves will often have warning labels on them for reproductive harm or cancer, so maybe dont purchase these items. At this location in particular, the employees seem to push by you, will often block off large areas of the aisles with their carts and boxes and not offer to move over when you try to get by them, and just seem rude. The self checkouts are really frustrating here as well because they can never sense the weight of objects and I will constantly need the cashier to come over and fix the issues, causing a delay for myself as well as everyone else in line.

I had a problem with the self checkout. It was saying I put something in the bagging area, and I did not. I asked for help from the attendant who was standing there, and she told me to wait. I waited 30 seconds and said, Excuse me

Nicely stalked shelfs self check out and tills but noone at the front to check you out if you don't know how to use self check outI was there to help my elderly mother but I felt bad for others like her with no helpMy 70 year old mother hates self check out

It is probably the largest dollarama in lower BC. I have been to at least 5+ dollarma stores, and this is the definitely the largest, well-stocked, and has wide selection of items.

The store is spacious and pleasant. It seems to have most of the goods. But there was no sunglasses clip for the sun visor.

It's typical Dollarama, although there's almost nothing for a dollar these days. That's to be expected though with all the inflation everywhere. The biggest problem though is their new self checkouts and then because of them, only having one employee working. It's absolutely ridiculous how poorly they implemented the self checkouts. They only actually get through a transaction without needing staff half of the time. Barcode not found, printer jammed, scale not detecting items and whatever other problems they have. Not a good deployment and definitely not tested enough to dump it all on one employee. I guess that's what you get for a dollar.

Love the store so much variety.

Very nice and clean store.Lotsof different items to choose from.I always buy my mixes at a dollar store...this store has plenty of choices.
