In case you didn't know (I didn't either) Hiemstra is under new ownership. I brought my older tent trailer in for repairs the quality of work was great. The cost was super reasonable. The turn around time was quicker than I thought for the busy season

I met the team at Hiemstra's last year. Carrie was a complete jem. This was my first experience with an RV. I do drive a crew cab pick up but my 26 footer was a new experience. Jennifer assisted me through all the warranty work and took many phone calls long after my purchase because of my questions. She was very patient and supportive. They also took me out in the back parking lot so that I could practice my turns and experience the length of the frame before going out in public traffic.As with any brand new purchase, there can be some quirks and the fellas in service have been incredible. Malcolm at the service desk is a wonderful person with a lot of knowledge.Service from the parts desk was utterly amazing also. I purchased a cover for the winter and they were very patient in answering all my queries and questions and making sure I got what I needed. There was a spot of wear in the spring when we took it off and they just took it off my hands no questions asked. They were so supportive and patient through the process of getting the right one.As I said, I am new to all of this and nervous. The people at Heimstra's have treated me very well and I am thankful to all of them.

Super happy with my new 2023 Jayco Swift camper van. (A second Jayco purchase from Heimstra’s: 2012 Eagle Ultralight.) Carrie and Kayla were so easy to deal with that they feel like new-found friends. Jeff in parts has the patience of a saint and has given me excellent follow-up service for everything from hoses and chemicals to mats and time consuming propane set-ups plus answers to a few dumb questions. I feel especially secure knowing the griddle and firepot have been set up AND tested by a professional before going on my way. I’m looking forward to an excellent season in a camping (or should I say glamping) vehicle that checks every must have box on my list plus a few I hadn’t even thought of!

Hiemstra trailer sales used to be one of the best trailer centres in Canada. Wayne and his staff were friendly and accommodating, offering exceptional customer service. After they were purchased by Leisure Days RV group in Ottawa, we continued to do business with them, both as a customer and a storage rental client. We recently made a decision to leave our trailer in Texas, so I cancelled the rental on April 5. They had already withdrawn the money for April from my account but I thought I might try, as a long time customer, to see if they might be able to provide some relief since the space was unused for 6 months. I called the office in the morning, and I was promised a call back. No one called, so I tried again. What happened next was unbelievable. When I inquired about the charge the woman on the phone (Jennifer I believe) became overly defensive, and asked me not to “speak to her that way”. I was merely asking a question, and in no way was I rude or did I raise my voice. She continued to indicate that it was the “head office” that did the billing and it had “nothing to do with her”. Customer service? Unbelievable. When I asked who I might speak with at head office - she refused to provide me with a name or number. Incredibly rude, unprofessional and devoid of any common sense. I’ll now be looking for storage elsewhere in the future, and in fact, I doubt I’ll continue to do business with them in ANY way. I would avoid this place if I were you.

Purchased my 2nd trailer at Heimstra with Carrie. She made us feel very comfortable and we had tons of time to check our trailer by ourselves, therefore no pressure. Not stressful at all to purchase a trailer here. Looking forward to pick up and we've been reassured that service will go over everything with us before delivery. Thank you for looking after us.

We purchased a used 2020 trailer from Hiemstra’s with a promise that the trailer would be detailed for us upon delivery. This trailer was filthy, the awning was black, the inside windows were filled with bugs and spider webs everywhere. They still had crayons and an old clock in the trailer that the other customer left behind left in the trailer. We were assured that a PDI was done on our trailer but I seriously doubt that they did anything to our trailer. I never write reviews but I hope this will helps someone else before they choose this dealership to purchase anything. Very disappointed customer here. You state I happily used the credit that you offered, I used the credit because that is all that you offered. I was also told that this is a used trailer which I am aware of, however the $100 that you offered us is minor. You never even responded to my email. Poor customer service.

We recently purchased a 2023 Jayco Jay Flight 212QB at Hiemstra. We were very happy with our salesperson, Carrie. She was very knowledgeable and educated us on pros and cons of the different travel trailers that we were interested in. Very helpful!

Bought our very first brand new trailer from Hiemstra. Carrie, our sales person was super nice, she was not a high pressure sales person at all. It is refreshing to not feel pressured into something that you are not wanting. I was looking at the trailers online first so knew what I was looking for and she didn't try to change my mind and sell something more expensive or bigger than what I went to look at. She welcomed us to look at others but wasn't pushy about it.I am looking forward to actually getting the trailer and start camping this year. They are storing it for me until the season starts and then delivering it to my site as I don't have a truck to pull a trailer.Thanks guys I will tell anyone that is looking for a trailer to come see you!!!
