We stopped by while our trip from Edmonton to Calgary. We tried their donuts, and so far, we really liked what we tried because the sweetness leves was perfect usuallt i found that cream filled donuts come out too sweet, when ever i get from tims or others but its first time that i really liked every piece we tried.

We accidentally spotted this place on our way to Calgary from Edmonton, best donuts I’ve had in Canada so far. They have so many flavors to try, especially fruit flavors. Orange, raspberry are my favorite!

This place was recommended to us by family. This shop is locally owned, one of a kind. They really pride themselves on their product. They are located 1.5 hours south of Edmonton, in Red Deer, Alberta.This place has a flavour of the month. While they were still serving June's flavour, in July, I'm curious to know what the new flavour will be--they encourage people to share their ideas.1 dz of donuts is just over $15.00--normal for a premium donut.Updated in 2023: $22.99/DZThis place also serves coffee, sandwiches, soup, breakfast sandwiches, etc.Edit: tried the crab salad sandwich. It's filling, pick your own toppings...very tasty and not bad for $8.00.You'll want to stop by--it is conveniently located off of the highway, so it is easy to make it apart of your trip.The Boston Cream is yum! I'm sure the rest are too...I'll have to update when I get home and eat them!Edit: After several visits here now, Raspberry Bismarck is now our favourite ❤️They also have mill bites--like robins eggs or Tim bits...yum!

The donut mill is a staple. Anytime me and my family is passing through red deer, we always stop here. There is something about the donuts here that feels more authentic. They have a perty extensive selection. I never really get food here. But thats just a Bonus. They put in a drive through about a year or two ago. The gift shop next door is also one of the best places in the Province to get tea!

You CAN'T drive by and not stop in! MUST try for anyone who hasn't been. If you've been...you know.Fresh sandwiches. The only issue would be the small plates for the humongous sandwich!Flavorful and not salty.Insane menu options!

I have lived in Edmonton for Just over 30 years now and this use to be The PLACE to get donuts, we would even drive down to get donuts when our kids were small. We decided to stop by on our way home this past weekend from Olds and lets just say the quality of the donuts are sub-par. We bought 2 dozen donuts and they were all dry inside and tasted like day old donuts. This is not the first time we have had this happen and unfortunately we will not likely be stopping here again. Tim Horton's has better donuts than this place, which is a shame when this place use to be the best in Alberta....

I came to know about The Donut Mills last year while traveling to Edmonton from Calgary since that day it’s my perfect stopover to grab a pack of donuts and coffee. Nice clean Deli and Bakery. There is always a long queue but staff is very efficient and fast.

Definitely be back when I'm on the road again! Try tasty sandwiches and donuts. There are some special combos on the menu if you want to try two or three items.
