Frankie's Resto-Bar Restaurant
Stopped in with my family for a light dinner our last night in town. Lovely spot close to the water, had a cozy, lively atmosphere and the staff were very friendly! Frankie himself brought us our food, and everything was fresh and tasty!

Frankie's Resto-Bar Restaurant
So good! We went to Uclulet for the day and ended up here for dinner. So glad we did. Portions are huge. My favourite was the Seafood Linguine. I couldn’t finish all the noodles so I ended up eating out the massive amount of seafood. My husband tried the brisket which was delicious and a bit saucy (in a good way). My son tried the pulled pork Mac and cheese and he loved it. We left stuffed and happy.

First night on our trip...I had a very tasty tuna burger and a couple of delicious drinks. Service was great too. Well done Frankies!

Frankie's Resto-Bar Restaurant
From what I understand this place just opened for the year’s season, so I had to stop by. One of my better decisions, the restaurant was small and only had one staff at the time, but he patiently explained our menu options and gave us his recommendations, which we took. Staff and food was great! Seafood, pasta, pork belly, everything was delicious!

Food was nice but waitress, by her own admission, made a mistake on ordering so our starter and main course arrived at the same time. I asked if she could do something about rectifying the situation but the best she could offer was to put our seafood linguine in a cardboard (takeout) box. Desire to keep the customer happy was non existent - no reduction in the bill. No offering to take away the main course and give us a new one when we’d finished our starters. As a result we rushed our eating and were very full very quickly. Not a great experience. They really need to learn about customer service here.

First trip to Ucluelet and found Frankie’s to eat at. The waitress was amazing and running all tables. We order our food. Pork belly was amazing and done perfectly. Order the brisket poutine and it was fabulous. Also the grilled chicken in French fries. Totally out of this world . We loved the fries so much. If we ever make it back we would definitely go back. Worth every penny.

Frankie's Resto-Bar Restaurant
The food, service, and atmosphere was phenomenal. Our meal was so good that we had to meet Frankie himself. I had Frankie’s place 5 months ago and I continue to reminisce and bring up how delicious this food was. We had the poutine, pork mac and cheese, chicken, and brisket. All were extremely tasty. Cheers!

My group of eight (8) adults were seated immediately inside at 7:00pm on a weekday evening. I could tell our server was harried and over-worked, but she certainly did her heroic best during a long workday. After taking our orders, our server came back and apologized that the kitchen had run out of mashed potatoes AND corn bread AND chicken. But wait, there's more: A later-seated group was advised that they were out of water (Ucluelet had apparently announced the city was flushing out their magnesium water lines - and for residents/businesses to limit all water use.) // For starters, we ordered both the Brisket Poutine ($21.50) & the Vegan Poutine ($21.50), both amazingly delicious! My Pork Belly BBQ ($33) was also very tasty - but, as stated above, they replaced the mashed potatoes & corn bread with a Caesar Salad and fries. So overall the meal was delicious. If I didn't live 5,418 km away (tourist here), I wouldn't hesitate to give them a second try. Your results may differ.

I found myself here for an impromptu late lunch around 1:30 and I was surprised to see I was the only one there! The food was amazing - I had the vegetable puttanesca and it tasted very fresh and delicious. I'm always a little wary of going to bar-type venues for food because I am vegetarian and often the menu doesn't accommodate that, but I was happy to see this one had a good number of options for me :) I can't remember the name of my server but he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

Unreal meal at this little hidden gem!We went the first night of our stay in Ucluelet and it’s was fully booked (good sign) had a couple of beers the second and then went on our last night for dinner. Best.meal.in.Canadá. Definitely go for the bbq on mash. Flavours were incredible, good portions and melt in your mouth meat!The girls serving were lovely too!
