The store is larger than it appears.We rented a cottage nearby and needed a hair dryer and brush but there was no Walmart nearby. This store had 4 hair dryers to choose from which is surprising for a hardware store.Lots of stock and reasonable prices.For a small town, it is a great store.Plus very friendly staff ready to assist.

I dont knoe who gave this home hardware a 1 star review but they are dead wrong. I travelled all the way up from moose deer point marina the other day to buy a heater and i found the service here excellent. Really nice helpful employees and the store was nice and clean and organized. I would definitively recommend people visit. Plus they have awesome fudge at the cash register.

Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable! You can purchase fishing permits in person at this location. Worth the drive to Mactier.

I've only ever been in this store once. I was quite surprised by how big the store is...it's huge. They have a great selection of products, the store is well laid out and the shelves were fully sstocked.The store is also clean with polite, friendly and courteous staff more than willing to help you in any way they can. Very impressive for a small town" hardware store."

Moose deer point Marina is an owned and run by moose deer point first Nation members I work there and quite a few years as a taxi boy driver I've met a lot of interesting people and friendly people and they're all good customers at the marina you are very kind and polite now I don't work there haven't worked there since 2000 I missed it working at the place I missed all the kind customers that I met over the years a lot of the customers I've met I passed away and no one but there is still some of the customers there that I know over the years right down to the younger generation I took their place coming to a marina the Stafford moose deer point Marina are polite and kind and they're willing to help all the time I really miss the place working there I'm being around the public I learnt that and I work for the ministry of natural resources fighting fire I'm very polite and kind I'd go out of my way just to help somebody this is not all my story of missed your point Marina

Historically the local store. Boyt's, then Vern's, then Wayne's now Gord's. From socks to snowblowers. Friends and neighbours. If they don't have it they can order it but unlike Amazon great advice and friendly service.

A small hardware store, but has everything you need. Although they can't get lumber or other building supplies (but that's okay, there is a muskoka lumber in Mactier too!), they are nice people who are also quite helpful!

They have very good attention, they are very kind and helpful and you can find everything you need in that store. The only bad thing is that they close early.
