Great ramen! I like the ordering system (writing your order on paper), and the service was really quick and the food was delicious! The pork was cooked to perfection it was unreal. And some of the greatest gyoza I’ve had in the city!

We had Chicken Karaage, Chilli Goma Ramen and Tonkotsu Black Ramen. Everything was delicious. Chilli Ramen was spicy but just the right amount for me. The service was also very nice.

Recommended:- Tonkotsu Black RamenIf you're looking for a new favourite ramen restaurant, this may be the place. Stopped in on the weekend for a quick bowl of ramen -- is there any other kind? -- and was delighted with my meal.Admittedly, the service wasn't very prompt. But eventually, I was able to order a bowl of the Tonkotsu Black Ramen with extra pork. It showed up reasonably quickly and, as soon as it landed, I was impressed. It looked and smelled great! The broth was exquisite as was the pork! This easily could have been the perfect bowl of ramen were it not for the fact that the noodles were a bit undercooked, the flavoured egg lacked flavour, and the veggies were limited to a few bits of leafy greens and a couple of pieces of seaweed paper. Maybe others feel differently, but I like a bit of crunch in my ramen! That said, the broth alone was enough to ensure I'll go back. When I do, hopefully some of those latter concerns will have been addressed.

Highly recommend chili goma if you don’t mind spicy with thick broth. For me, I don’t think it’s spicy as my spicy food tolerance is very high ;) Overall, the ramen is delicious!

Ordered the tonkotsu black ramen and gyoza. Super rich flavours in both. The pork chashu was literally melt in your mouth. They were also accommodating with a nut allergy. Will definitely be back again.

We had dinner at Wakado with friends, I had tonkotsu shoyu, my friends had mazemen and spicy miso. Everything tasted good, spicy miso was everyone’s favorite! Their noodle is medium thickness, texture was little soft rather than springy. Broth was really flavorful, I personally thought spicy miso can be spicier, tonkotsu can be fattier. Toppings, their egg was perfection, meat was also delicious but half of it was fat. I personally do not like leafy greens on top of hot soup as it just get soggy and does not add any flavor. Price was reasonable, service was quick and great. My soup was not hot enough, the noodle was too soft for my likings, but everything else was really delicious!

Awesome ramen joint, first come first serve was able to sit at the bar and walk right in! Chilli goma was good rich flavourful broth noodles passed the test also!

Decided to hit up this restaurant for my only night in Calgary based off a Reddit Recommendation, and it's safe to say, my Miso ramen bowl was one of the best ramen bowl I've ever had. Full stop.Super delicious and quick service. You will not be disappointed if you eat hereAbsolutely delicious.Their Gyoza was perfectly cooked and was scrumptious as well.The dessert, Mango Mochi, was just the perfect way to end the meal. I can't sing High enough praise for this place.Great stuff!!!

Really tasty Ramen and didn't have to wait for a table at brunch time! The pieces of meat seemed a little small but honestly I've been noticing that across a lot of restaurants due to inflation so it's not personal. We get it. The broth is flavourful and the jellied egg is perfect.

Wakado Ramen
Cozy vibe and funky interior, easy enough to park on the street in the evening. The server took a little while to come to our table but offered us a complementary beverage in apology and was very sweet and friendly. Both the spicy chili ramen and the black tonkotsu were delicious and satisfying. I’d definitely eat here again.
