Perfect place to visit when its rainy or just too damn hot to be outsideSo many great finds at the gift shop. Love picking up lil treasures for gifts or to keep for myself! All local!Gallery has a new show every week which means you can pop in often.The staff is remarkably friendly and welcoming so you can easily go solo or with friends.Love it

Slice of Life is one of the coolest spots in Vancouver. It showcases some of the most talented local artists and its next door space, Slice Next Door, is likely to be hosting some sort of awesome pop-up/event when you visit. Definitely a must-see spot.If you want to rent out Slice Next Door or have any questions, just ask for Sheena. She is notoriously fun and cool.

Slice’s owner is the best! She has created a super warm, welcoming, vibe. This is my #1 stop to buy gifts in the city (I usually can’t help but get something for myself as well). Gorgeous gallery exhibitions and there are usually a lot of prints for sale! Love love love 5 stars

Really cool gallery run by some rad people! I have been to a few art shows there and bought some really cool pieces! It’s always a great time! Haven’t personally rented any studio space, but know some people who do and really enjoy working out of there!

Slice of life is my new favourite pass time. Pinball Thursday’s has been a staple since discovering this place, 10$ entry and you get to hang out with cool people and learn to play pinball. The staff are always such a treat, some of the best customer service I have ever experienced! And dog friendly!

A really lovely gallery, shop and event space that does a wonderful job supporting local artists. Slice of Life staff are always super friendly and knowledgable. Lots of events and workshops on every week and if you complete the certificates to use the equipment, you can access the Kiln and screen printing equipment for your own projects!Also...pinball machines!You'll never be disappointed with a drop in to Slice!

They offer a variety of classes and a place for vendors and artisans alike to be able to showcase and sell their works. Their gift shops holds hundreds of local options to choose from to be able to decor your home or spoil your friends and family.A must stop spot for all those interested in the arts community!

SLICE- what more could you want from a locally owned store who celebrates local artists?! In a city which constantly feels like we’re battling with international talent such as the film industry- we have our own little east van haven of community supported workers! Sheena works insanely hard to make sure there are events to go to and probably never actually gets a day off- have you seen this woman?- despite all flawless skin! Beauty!!!!

super rad gallery and shop! Ive been to several art shows there and its always a great time! the people who work/run the place are very friendly, the vibes are great, and theres a lot of really cool stuff to buy! definitely worth checking out :)

Slice of Life is the cutest local art shop you’ll see in Vancouver! All of the employees are super welcoming and make warm conversation. The art sold in shop varies in styles, so you’re bound to see something you want to take home with you every time!! Good price variations so you can shop on a budget or treat yourself to some big prints and hand crafted goods. The Owner Sheena is heaven sent, I swear the loveliest lady you’ll ever meet. I’d 10/10 suggest going to Slice for bday/holiday gifts or just to indulge in some local made art.
