I’m my opinion, the best mix martial art gym there is in Toronto. The coaches here are so friendly and they really care about their students. Everyone is so friendly, it’s honestly amazing

Best MMA gym for all people, whether you’ve never trained before or whether you’re looking to compete. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. They’ve got really good mats and brand new heavy bags and pads.

It's a pleasure to train here. The vibe of 6IX MMA attracts the best type of people to train with. Very friendly atmosphere. The mats are literally the best you can train on. The passion that comes from head coach Danny Beauclerc reaches out to everybody that trains at 6IX. Whether you're in for competition, hobby, or just for fun, there's a spot for everybody here. Another important note is that 6IX is also beginner friendly. 6IX MMA acknowledges the importance of getting the best out of everyone that's willing to train regardless of their abilities or attributes. You will fit in.

I’ve trained at a few other gyms but non of them compare to 6IX MMA. The speed at which I’m able to progress at as a martial artist is incredible. This is due to the hard work and dedication that the coaches have here towards there students no matter what skill level they’re at.

Definitely one of the best gyms in the city. Super friendly coaches and members. Very family oriented. No egos. Kru Danny is very knowledgeable and always finds the right analogy to help you understand the techniques, no matter the degree of difficulty.

When I first got into Martial Arts I trialed many gyms and came across 6ix MMA. They have it all - from a welcoming and safe environment, to incredibly technical teachers. For a class you can expect a high focus on proper technique and doing all movements right - this isn't a 'cardio boxing' type workout where you can gas yourself out on a heavy bag throwing bad strikes. With that being said, you can expect to leave exhausted and you will 100% get a great workout in.I can't speak highly enough about this gym, from beginner to expert you'll feel challenged, learn something, and get in better shape throughout.

I took ONE class and wanted to come back for more, Danny puts in his heart and soul when teaching. The only thing that keeps me away from this great school is the distance. But for anyone living in and around lesliville should consider this school. Cheers!

The absolute best gym in the city for MMA, regardless of what level of expertise you have with martial arts. They have some of the most helpful and invested coaches on staff, and always make sure you're getting the most out of each session while keeping your experience level in mind. Highly recommended to beginners and experts alike! 5 stars.

There’s some good, and a lot of bad here. The good thing is that the head coach Danny is great. Super friendly and welcoming and great with beginners. He was really great at answering people’s questions and can explain things really well. Although he’s more of an MMA guy from my understanding, sometimes he might call a position a grappling thing the wrong name, but great teacher and instructor. Everyone at the gym is incredibly friendly and the gym has a good atmosphere.Unfortunately that’s mostly where the positives end. There’s no curriculum at the gym so learning is stifled by just having move of the day with no connection between classes. The biggest issue at the gym that I know myself and other people have complained about is the other instructors. There’s not a super high level at the gym and one smaller bald coach Arash was an absolute disaster of an instructor when I went in. I truly believe he may not have known anything about jiu jitsu or MMA and was making up things as he went along. Constant wrong advice everywhere, his half guard pass that was drilled was just to squeeze a body lock really hard until they let go of your leg… And that’s all you do to pass half guard. Don’t bother with Lachlan’s half guard anthology when you know this one simple trick. Also I know for a fact that unfortunately the mats are never cleaned here.
