The Nordegg Canteen
We popped in to the Canteen for a coffee. I had the mocha latte and my friend had a hot chocolate. Both came with a homemade marshmallow. We had a raspberry muffin and chocolate chip cookie. So delicious! The perfect treat after a winter hike. They have a nice spot to eat in. I'm coming back in the summer for the bbq and live music!

Absolutely delicious. Fries are so good. Like, get an order of the fries. The sandwiches are also very delicious and very filling. Impressed with their selection of craft beers and craft sodas for such a small place. Definitely a place worth stopping at if In nordegg. I regret not having a homemade donut though. Next time.

Great burger and fries, with Alberta Beer from various breweries. Listened to live music in the yard while eating!! Mountains in the background, pretty awesome!! Great entertainers as well

They make an amazing London Fog! I haven't had anything that compares. The atmosphere is friendly and homey. Highly recommend!

I loved this place! The popsicles are housemade and 100% delicious. Every flavour we had was amazing. The food and coffee was great as well!A must stop of you are in the area.

The folks here were so friendly & they have a very cute set up!I ordered 1 scoop of foothills ice cream in a bowl and a homemade sugared donut. The ice cream was a generous sized scoop and fairly priced, but I was so disappointed in the donut! It cost over $4 and it was so hard and stale. I'd say it was a couple days old. I'd visit again but would just stick to the ice cream.The location is great, as you can sit out back and admire the spectacular view of the mountains and the beautifully landscaped golf course.

Cons- 10$ for a vegan sandwich that was about the size of my palm. 2 stars cause it tasted good and service was great. But grossly overpriced for hummus lettuce tomato - paid extra for vegan cheese and couldn't taste it.Bun was cut in half, and my bf got the other half. If the half was 5$ and they offered the full bun for 10$ it would be more reasonableYou might get hit with a golf ball if you're waiting for food, stay closer to the parking lot...Pros - service is kind and friendly. The fries are so so delicious. Better price that the sandwich and waaaaaay more given.Of course fries are a cheaper item but menu items should be better priced to the items offered.

The people working here are so friendly! We tried the donuts (went at 2pm) and got 4, all were really dry so we were very disappointed with that. Unique flavours of ice cream and that was good. Would try again.
