Niagara Escapement | Escape Rooms & Board Games

Had a great time here ! My husband and I love to do escape rooms and we attempted the “end of the world “. We have done a lot of rooms frombreakout escapes and adventure rooms but Niagara escapement was by far the most challenging and well thought out room we have ever played. The people creating the rooms are very smart and everything you see has a connection to the many puzzles in this room. Although we didn’t get out being just 2 of us (would be better room for a group which they had warned us ) it was a lot of fun and we really enjoyed every minute of it.Note - they should tell you that you can (SHOULD) bring the board to write notes to the next room. We left it behind and it would’ve helped us to have it .Another thing we found out once we got there that they have a board game cafe type room and that you can play games for FREE if you book an escape room ! We wish they would advertise it on their website or let you know when you call as we would’ve used it before our room if we had known previously.All in all highly recommend this location and will definitely come back next time we visit Niagara Falls.

We played the oven bake and it was so much fun, the staff is SUPER friendly, the puzzles were awesome, and they were very helpful whenever your stuck on a puzzle. We have done other escape rooms before but this one is in my top favorites because the staff made it so much fun! Awesome job you guys, we will definitely be returning and i reccomend that everyone should come try an escape room here!

Two of us played the Easy Bake Coven room and it was so fun! Lots of great puzzles and clues to keep you entertained for the whole time youre in the room. Will definitely being returning to play some of the other rooms later this summer! Highly recommended

The team here is great! They are inviting and kind, not to mention very personable. Their rooms are great if you are looking to escape but they also have a massive collection of board games and role playing games from checkers to D&D to new games you've likely never heard of. If you are looking for something fun to do without breaking the bank in Niagara Falls, this is a good spot to check out!

My husband and I did the Easy Bake Coven" this weekend and really enjoyed it. You can tell this room was really well crafted and unique. It was perfect to do as a group of 2. The room itself was really fun and the storyline

Did two of their rooms and absolutely loved them both! The puzzles are intuitive and have a good mix of simple and complex. We were two experienced players and managed their larger rooms. The owner is also just the nicest guy and you can tell that he loves what he does. We'll be back when a new room opens up!

We've gone to Niagara Escapement a few times now. The staff is always wonderful, welcoming and willing to explain games in details. The business is super clean, and well organized. Now lets talk about their WOW factor! They have created some of the best, unique, fun and challenging escape rooms. We have officially completed all 3 rooms. We only ever do as a duo or trio, but found each room to be so exciting, well thought out, and have such a comedic spin. Easy Bake Coven, End of the World, and Honeymoon Suite all have multi-rooms and are vastly different. We cannot wait for them to make another room for us to try.

We had a lot of fun trying to escape the Honeymoon Suite. The puzzles made sense as did the flow of the escape room. The staff was also very friendly. They even gave us 5 extra minutes because they saw that we were on our last clue and so close to solving it. Thank you!

This place is awesome! They have quite an array of games to play on premise, personally I played 2 different games. There is the option to buy games as well, and it's awesome that you can try out the game first to see that you like the mechanics.Additionally, I went through a small party escape room and that was great. So well designed and run! Highly recommend that experience as well.

Had the pleasure of visiting this past weekend with my partner. We are escape room enthusiasts and have played about 300 rooms together. The three rooms we played at Niagara Escapement were among the most fun we've experienced. It was just a top notch day from beginning to end. Our game masters were so professional and found the perfect ways to give us little nudges when we needed them, while still letting us feel clever. Instructions were clear, props were in good shape, and there was tons of humor built into the rooms. And the lobby and gaming area are so welcoming! Clean, comfortable, well-lit... we could have stayed all day. Rob and Cecilia were so much fun to talk to, and they truly understand the business and the different needs of the range of customers that they get. This place is an absolute gem. Not to be missed.
