5 star! First time renting a car on holidays, we had Pam at the Victoria airport. She was so helpful, made everything happen with an upgrade for a Rubicon jeep! Upon return, handed in the keys and she was so friendly and explained the fuel process. Would totally do this again! Thanks Pam for getting us of on the right foot, our holiday was fun!

Booking our car was so fast and easy! We used aeroplan points but were able to upgrade and the staff at the YYJ airport were awesome! A special shout-out to our awesome agent Sharon, he was fast, friendly, and helped us start our trip off right!

Received a car with a brake problem! When I called it in while driving back to Victoria from Thetis Iskand they had me drop off car at closest budget in Victoria. The rep there told me to fill up the car first before dropping it off ?!? I said I am not driving an unsafe car anywhere and mention that if he read the contract I had the fuel top up option included. Wow.Furthermore, when the keys were returned early morning before budget opened , I wrote on contract to have manager call me. Nothing. Just swiped my visa for $1248.91 on Aug 14.Thanks budget. Great experience.

Don't rent here!! Had a rental booked, stood in line for 40 min to handle the rental. Were told we couldn't put drivers on the car unless everyone had a credit card. That was not mentioned when we booked. This was not mentioned on the website. The attendant was not helpful or engaged. It was 10pm and we had no way to get to our destination. Terrible service. I will NEVER rent from here again!

Brooklyn and Pratch made renting a car at the Victoria airport a very pleasant experience. We rented a full size car at the YYJ airport location but on arrival there wasn’t one. Because of recent back surgery I needed a car with a adjustable passenger seat. Brooklyn contacted Pratch at the Budget Office inside the airport. He came to the rental lot an together the two of them matched us with the perfect car at no extra charge. They were very courteous and even helped us put the luggage in the car. Therefore they rated five stars.

I honestly don't understand why so many bad reviews... I have rented cars from this location for 4 times now. Usually convertibles. Super quick to get the car and no pressure of selling me insurance and stuff. Last time I rented a BMW 430i. Car was great and so much fun but the only problem was that inside of the car was really dirty and dusty... We had to clean it ourselves. Other than that no other issues. I will be back in July and have already booked my car with these guys.

Fair play to the staff at this location. They did call and advise I might not get the luxury class I booked. I said that's fine as long as they discount my rental. They put in a request to get one for me. They actually delivered on this request hence my positive review. They did actually did have the luxury class vehicle in the end. This was great and it was a new Cadillac CT5. The car was great for touring the island as we didn't want an SUV. Check in was really quick. Car was clean.
