Trousdale's Home Hardware Building Centre
Friendly, helpful staff, manageable-sized store that seems to nonetheless always have what I need. I live about equally far from the Hartington location, and drive by the big box stores in Kingston, and of all the options I prefer to shop here by far. The best experience and prices, even relative to other Home Hardwares.

I like to go here because it's local but unfortunately my latest experience wasn't so great. I bought a fridge and stove from here in December 2020. I made a point of going here because they say they stand behind the products they sell, and it's local. I could have went to Kingston where there is significantly more options but they did have something I liked at a reasonable price here. 1.5 years later our stove has quit. It can't even be plugged in because it's an electrical issue. I call the store and the response I get is call Whirlpool". Whirlpool can't come for two weeks. I call a local repair shop who tells me the circuit board needs replaced

As always a terrific place to visit. The staff are super friendly and courteous. The place has always something new and trendy as well as the old fashioned items. It's in the heart of Sydenham. We found all of our hardware supplies. The store is super clean and bright with lots of room to park. We were told Dan Ackroyd visits here often as he is a local resident.

Always a great place to shop and support the local. If they don't have the item you need in stock they can always order it. Happy to not drive to Kingston to a big box store and rather support a family business in the local village! I recommend this place for sure!
