Pick Eating Vancouver

This place is such a scam. Not only that but they’re committing insurance fraud too.1. They advertise a 75 minute appointment but at the start of the appointment (when it’s too late for me to change my mind) they say the appointment is actually only half that time and the rest of the 75 minutes is used by the practitioner to write notes. I’ve worked with several dietitiansover the last 20 years and not a single one of them used my appointment time to do their behind the scenes works. I picked this one due to the length of the appointment as I had 3 different issues to discuss and then ended up being rushed and not being able to cover everything2. The recommendations are not custom to your child. Everything the dietitian said was preceded with “based on health canada guidelines” and then basically quoted health canada. Everything I got I could have found on the health canada website with a simple 2 minute search. I was looking for recommendations specific to my child’s challenges3. The dietitian didn’t really listen to me. I had to explain what I was asking several times. She would repeat it as if she understood it but would then give me an answer that had nothing to do with my question. I corrected her twice and each time she acknowledged that she understood her answers was applicable but didn’t give me a better one. I gave up trying as we were nearing the halfway time frame and running out of “appointment time” given half of it I wasn’t allowed to use4. It’s been 3 days since my appointment and I still have not received the recommendations I was promised. If they’re going to steal half of my appointment time to do their notes, I expect to receive those notes the same day5. They gave me a receipt saying my appointment was 75 minutes. This is a lie and, according to my insurance adjuster, considered a crime (insurance fraud)
