The Brick

Awful experience at this company.I bought some bedroom furniture, mattress sets, washer and dryer and some other appliances in July and August. We had the first delivery of a queen bed and mattress set on August 31, 2022. The drivers arrived at my house and started moving everything into the bedroom. They told me they would not assemble the bed. However, when I told them that the assembling for this particular bed is included in the delivery service and it’s the brick’s policy. Then they started to assemble the bed. This is the honesty issue. The drivers knew what they supposed to do and they pretended not to do.The second delivery service made me sick of this company. It happened on September 29,2022. A king, a queen bed, mattress sets and washer, dryer and dishwasher were delivered. The same thing happened again but worse than before. Drivers refused to assemble the beds at the beginning. But when I called the sales person and let sales person told them to assemble, then they assemble the beds. They did not take away the package which they supposed to do. They left all the garbage in my house. They scratched the wall and left the stains on the wall, also the drivers left all the shoes stains on the hardwood floor because they did not put on the shoe protector. I just hired handyman to renovate the whole house before the delivery of the furniture. The worst part is the delivery of washer and dryer. The installation service is included in The brick’s delivery policy. However, the drivers refused to install the washer and dryer and said they didn’t have tools to do it. And the brick didn’t provide any tools for drivers to do the installation service for the customers. It is very unprofessional. So, they left the washer and dryer at my laundry room which blocked the entrance to door of the garage. This is not the excuse for the drivers to refuse the installation service. It’s the communication between the fleet department of the company and the delivery drivers. The drivers were hired to work on behalf the brick and they supposed to know they need to have before working. They should follow the policy of the brick. I complained to customer service department of the store through the sales person. However, I haven’t received any responses from the store. It looks like no one of the brick cares about this at all.

I recently purchased a fridge from the location at Kennedy Commons and had the pleasure of dealing with Mary Salib. She was very easy to work with and she even came in on her day off to assist me with my purchase. If your shopping here ask for Mary!! The delivery guys that came were fantastic as well, up the stairs to the third floor great team work made the job go smoothly.

Bigger sized furniture. Friendly but not pushy people.Huge showroom but prices are similar to Ashley...pricey but suits more a house not apartment type furniture.I love the carpets they laid out on display.The flooring is interestingly good to look at.

We are finishing our new house and this guy Christian helped us buy our new refrigerator and new sofa and love seat. He knows his spaces well and has very good knowledge of how the difference in sofas compared to those of structube and the brick.He deserves a promotion! HahaAlso Garnet his manager is very helpful and gave us discountsIf you need help Christian is the man!So happy with pur purchase! Will surely tell friends to look for him and buy from the Brick

Samar is very kind and listens to details. when we entered the store we were met with a beautiful smile you could feel her warmth and drive to provide amazing customer service. we initially had a budget of 1000 but we couldn’t lose the chance to grab some of the amazing peices we left with. im so excited for the sofa love seat and coffee table she introduced us to. is a harder job to make sense of what we needed but she did. we ended up spending 2200. we felt she she cared and helped us to get excited about these upgrades and how they will make our daily lives feel lighter and like our personalities. you can see from the photos its not cookie cutter. thanks so much Samar

Samar is a good seller she really takes her time. Whenever I buy stuff she’s always there and she’s very professional. Keep up your good work and never change.Also the manager is a great person to have in that place, he is professional and very helpful. So I am glad to have a good time when I am at Scarborough the brick. Thanks again for all your help.

Karan helped us with our purchase of a reclining sofa, and he made our entire experience seamless and hassle-free. He described the product features and warranty info in a very good manner. To purchase new mattress and some furniture we walk into the Brick store at Kennedy commons.MUSKAA was the sales person who helped us. She was so helpful, knowledgeable and really humble. She took her time to help us and really patient with our questions.We recommend this place make sure ask for MUSKAA. Best customer service ever.We will be back again

I have a non working fridge for over two weeks now. I got it 4years ago from The Brick Scarborough location. I got an extended warranty that was advised by the store, paid so much money for it hoping I will get the help that I need at times like this. Been trying to reach people from the warranty company and the brick store - I just want a loaner unit until I get my fridge fixed but they have been just passing me around, getting ignored on calls and emails, and getting lied to about someone will reach out to me to help. All my appliances are all from this store, they are nice and very helpful when you are getting stuff from them but will be ignored and lied to when you have issues with your purchase.
