We had family dinner at this resto, 4 of us, and wowww the food were spot on. So delicious we finished everything served on the plates... The service, too, was good...I would recommend those who are looking for Indian Food in Victoria, you should come to this place..If I ever come again to Victoria, this will be my to go list ✅️.

My family dosen't like this place, we ordered dal makhani, butter chicken, Shahi panneer, chicken korma. All gravy taste same, colour same, quantity small portions, I recommend to all indians don't take a single chance for trying its total Wastage of time and money.

Good service despite only the 1 waiter serving.Food was hot and plentiful.I had the prawns tandoori served on vegetables which were plentiful and done to perfection.

The food is absolutely delicious and the service is so wholesome and kind. I could not recommend this place highly enough.Portions are so large that we had a full meal the next day

We chose this restaurant based on the very positive google reviews, but were disappointed.The food: we ordered butter chicken special for two. It came with 2 samosas, rice, bread and a small dessert for about $30.The price was reasonable but the portions were rather small. The portion of the rice and butter chicken was about the size you would get for 1 person rather than 2 in other places.The food was basic, nothing wrong with it, but nothing outstanding either. Bread though was very fresh and crispy.The service:The gentleman that served us was very nice and pleasant but unfortunately he appeared rather untidy. His out fit was stained with food and you could smell body odour and bad breath around him.The menus was very long. The specials menu consisted of hand a hand written list on back on a half-torn envelope.The decor: looked like average restaurant from middle east in the 1980s.I think they can easily improve these aspects as the food was fine and staff were nice.

Vegetarian Dinner @ Indian Aroma:After the starter (gobi garlic) and soup (tomato), I was excited about the main course laacha Paraatha, dhal tadka and green peas pulao. But my excitement fizzled out after tasting the main course.Go for:Gobi garlic (cauliflower starter) - tasty with right spices added to the dish 5/5Tomato Soup - good portion of soup that was tangy, adjusting the salt and pepper it tasted good 5/5Laacha Paraatha - flaky and layered flat bread cooked to perfection 5/5Don’t try:Dhal Tadka - done hastily, it was neither spicy nor had any taste. Doesn’t qualify as a food to be on the table 1/5Green peas pulao - Dry 2/5Out of 5 things I ordered only 3 were good, so 3/5.Might visit again to try non vegetarian dishes.

Google misguided us with a higher rating for this restaurant! The Garlic roti and chicken tikka masala was pathetic. My colleague ordered mix veg curry and we asked for spicy .. but the food was full of chilli powder ! The chicken cubes in chicken tikka masala hasn’t gone through a tikka - Tandoor process !Having said that most of you would say , this is how a indian restaurant is outside india ! But just 4-5 days back we tried Varsha which is quite close to this one and that was much much better !Never again !
