I go here for the croissants if I haven't made it down to Harbord St. They are rather good. I only pick up a few items here if I've forgotten something..I don't really like Loblaws because it feels like I'm walking through a giant experiment in food marketing and price/product placement. I'd swear there was an evil disco ball spinning madly on several occasions, trying to distract me from what's truly happening. I miss the 3 Whippet dogs sat at the entrance, patiently waiting for their master to return from his long journey through this fun house of horrors. It's rather cheerful though.

Large grocery store and fairly upscale. Has beer although not cold. Many areas of great selections as well as a Bakery, Butcher, Fish Market and Deli. Also has an excellent cake section and a cafe. Many cashiers have greatly improved the service level. Our go to Loblaws.

Bit pricier than my local Foid Basics for everyday groceries, but great, wide selection of produce and products. Items I can't find anywhere else close by include frozen lamb and goat meats, Italian Bomba, decent sushi selection to tide over a hungry 11yo after school, or a lunch option for the next day. Halloween pumpkins are plentiful and well priced (in season).

Great Loblaws. My son lives close while attending university. Well kept, good food, well stocked. Always a stop when we are in town.

It is shameful that Loblaws continues to source eggs from hens crammed into tiny, barren, wire battery cages in spite of their commitment to end this. These poor birds never experience fresh air or sunshine and cannot engage in any natural behavior or even stretch a wing. Imagine living in a crowded elevator, standing on milk crates in your bare feet. Even the animals unfortunate enough to be caught up in our food system deserve a life worth living.

Best place to get a cheap sandwich after 9pm. This grocery store has been here since I was a kid back in the 90s.

Beautiful store and the inflated prices reflect that. Has everything needed at a high end grocery store. Lots of prepared food. (Lots at 50% off too). Starbucks. Floral shop. Several self check outs. Plenty of parking in the lot.

Staff are always courteous and there is plenty of selection. That said, the last 2-3 times I’ve gone I’ve discovered that a few of the things I’ve bought (shelf-stable stuff) were past their due date. Of course, I always check this kind of thing for meats, etc. but never had to do it for items like tortilla chips. Hopefully this won’t keep happening.

One of my favourite Loblaws stores in Toronto. They sell pretty much anything you need, from fresh meat and cheese to wine and flowers. There’s a Deli, Bakery, Kitchen, and Butcher section in the store. Moreover, they sell flowers, magazines and gift cards. Overall, I highly recommend shopping at this store.
