Bonavista Peking House
The service was slow, my dinner plate had bits of dried food and water on it. The food certainly wasn’t delicious. I went to the front to pay. The machine processed the amount I owed but not the tip I entered. I was going to leave cash for the tip on the table. Before I could do so the owner brought his copy of the receipt to our table complaining there wasn’t a tip on it. Totally rude!

Picked up the order, but we thought we had ordered rice so we called them back, and there was confusion when we had ordered; the lady thought we had said we would make our own rice.

Very Delicious food, good variety of food. One of my faves is #104 salt and pepper spareribs, they are very good! Their ginger beef is descent too, comparable to the Ginger beef restaurant.I ordered to go as the service was very poor and the lady was grumpy if we asked about the many. That’s the only downside.

Had dinner there wasn't overly impressed, they need to coordinate in kitchen better. Our first dish, lemon chicken came out, we started eating it and it was a sud 10 mins before we got thd rest. We literally had eatten all the lemon chicken, before we got rice or anything else 3 tables full in venue so they were not over loaded.

First time visit this Chinese restaurant which is good service and provides tasty noodle soup. There are so many other meal options that I would love to try more in the future days:) btw, they have good quality Chinese tea which I totally recommended!

An institution in Lake Bonavista. Restaurant is clean and the food is very good. Aesthetics need some updating tho it matches the age of the building where it is located at.

Have only been for the lunch buffet which is very tiny with not much selection but the food offered was decent. The price for buffet isn't bad but there should be a few more Items offered.Looking at the menu, prices are expensive/quite a bit above average compared to other Chinese restaurants so will not be ordering from here. Lower your prices if you want more business!

Bonavista Peking House
This place is woefully underrated, no way it should be under 4.5*. I just ordered a bunch of food tonight and it was all fantastic. Both the ginger beef and sweet and sour pork with pineapples were swimming in sauce! The mixed vegetables in black bean sauce and black pepper chicken fried noodles were great too. There are some great Chinese food places in the South but this one is my favourite.
