The staff at the WEAC treat clients very inhumanly. The housing workers bully clients, don't support them when they are unsafe or with their medical situation and house them in bug infestations. The nurses on shift steal medications. They don't give clients toilet paper in the washrooms. Girls die because they are not checked on and told to go away from staff when they need help. The nurse practitioner downstairs bullies clients, minimizes their health issues and lies. She will push medication on people without telling them what it is and won't believe the truth when you give it to her. This place needs to be investigated. It's no wonder people stay homeless and addicted with this inhumane treatment. The staff at the WEAC need their own professional help - they do not qualify as professionals - they are lazy and should be working at McDonald's, not in an establishment where they have to help people better themselvesUpdate: E4C does not respond to emails and doesn't care about the severity of these issuesI've advised all health professionals outside of the WEAC and 811 of this horrendous placeIf you are homeless - don't go here, your health will worsen!

I stayed here when homeless and it beats being homeless on the street, the workers are caring and hard working people and I appreciate that I have been there, when times were tough. I think that people should help them with clothing and toiletries because it helps the homeless women.Who come there with nothing but the clothes on their backs.God,bless them!

I decided today to help a lady check-in. Walked in and was literally greeted with no hellos, they just told us to leave the building immediately. I have never felt that much hostility in a professional setting in my life and I understand they are used to dealing with people dealing in dehumanizing situations but that's literally no excuse to dehumanize people that enter the building. Maybe change your profession? I just really hope that the white female staff members receive training on DEI because they're on a power trip where there is disproportionately houseless folks entering this building who are other minorities , on top of being women. I can understand beds being full but could you have given out a sheet of phone numbers and different locations to contact instead of just telling someone to leave immediately???Updates2023/06/20: sent email to address below. Waiting for response.

When I first arrived here it was horrible the majority of the clients here were dealing drugs and doing it in the rooms and tbh I'm severely allergic to all those bad drugs so I would know when its near by but as the months gone by it is gradually getting better and still has some work to do and I do believe the staff here deserve at the least a $5 raise for putting up with a lot and through my observation they are strong caring woman and all the shelters and the homeless should be #1 priority to stem off a lot of problems and it should be rewarded to those that prove themselves sober from the bad stuff and the streets :) my strong opinion does matter.
