The drive was a bit long from Montreal and the experience was sort of worth it. I know it would be a logistical nightmare to have real pumpkins but we were a bit dissapointed to discover that the pumpkins are mostly all made of styrofoam. The gift shop was overpriced and the trip overall was subpar.

I was disappointed to see that the pumpkins are foam, so FAKE pumpkins, which takes away from the special" of having real pumpkins for spooky season. Considering the amount of pumpkins displayed each year at your event - this is a real threat to the environment. I understand that the pumpkins can rot or attracts wild animals and bugs

Excellent place to take the kids and enjoy the beautiful displays. Seems like this year's displays are different and equally enjoyable.

Pumpkinferno is a wonderful tradition that my family take part in every October. A beautiful and tucked away little village that is decorated for Halloween season with thousands of pumpkins carved to look like anything your mind can imagine!Takes about 30-60 minutes to walk through the village and see all the sights, but take your time. There are music/light shows, student pumpkins, and lots of little activities to do with the whole family. Hot apple cider and snacks for along the way or at the end. You’ll have a great time here!

Really pleasant, bright and beautiful experience. The walk through put us in good moods with the different themes and music. Lots of fun activities for kids. You can walk it as many times as you like. We went for 8pm but stayed nearly till 10. We sat down inside for hot chocolate and apple cider ( which was really good!) the drive from Montreal - West Island was 1:10 minutes. We reserved tickets in advance as they sell out pretty quickly. Also really nice area to star gaze!

Year after year they do not disappoint. They have timed tickets. Don't bother getting there earlier as you will need to wait for entry anyhow. Parking is available.

This is well worth the drive to Upper Canada Village from Ottawa. What a fun and creative experience. The pumpkins are in themes - from the Jacks Lane, to Creatures of the Current, Area 51, Enchanted Forest, Who let the Dogs Out, and many others, this is an incredible display of thousands of pumpkins. You can even get a beavertail and hot chocolate if you so desire. It’s well thought out and plenty of space to socially distanced. It’s times entry so you don’t have to worry about being over crowded. Highly recommend the trip to visit

Drove down from Ottawa and had a fantastic first visit to Pumpkinferno. There is so much talent and creativity on display here and the different scenes and the surroundings were very enjoyable. You generally cannot see what's coming next, so there are some nice 'oooh' and 'aaah' moments throughout. We spent about an hour enjoying it all (21:30 entrance time) and I was glad that we weren't hurried through at all.I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the people who complain that the pumpkins aren't real. What do you think happens to vegetable matter after a while? It rots! This attraction has 7000 hand-carved items on display, of which about 2000 are newly-created by just 5 artists each year, starting in the Spring. With all that work and talent, your main focus is to complain that it isn't 'real'? Get a life!

This was really fun! It takes about an hour to walk through if you're taking your time and you don't stop for beverages or treats.
