Prospera Credit Union

The last couple of years have been painful dealing with this branch and Westminster Savings in general. The change to Prospera has shown no improvement.

Been with this branch for many years. Always pleasant and helpful.

The staff are wonderful to deal with here. I do have issues with their app, it doesn't properly work on my phone. I usually log in through their website to use my online banking.

When I had a checking account with Westminster Savings, sometimes I would get interest payments. Now Prospera charges me, to have a checking account with them. I complained and they said, that will be stopped. I will to have wait till next month, To see if they keep their word.

Awesome customer services!!! I have dealt with Elizabeth Dueck and John Iapalucci couple of times, they both have great knowledge of financial matters. All other customer representatives also very helpful.

I had been a WSCU customer for over 20 years but, since all the changes they've had in the last few years and the lack of attempting to retain loyal customers I've had to move on. This branch was basically the nail in the coffin of misinformation, and time wasting overall. It's unfortunate but, time for another banking chapter.

I was giving the incorrect information over the phone, I did not need to bring my mother to set up a Power of Attorney.Then when I got to the branch they said I had to be a member and I had to produce my mother who is ill. It takes a lot effort to get my mother to the branch.I got to the investment advisor who had my documents. He claimed my documents that I paid $170 dollars for were mere copies. I told him that the Notary done them that way so if he had concerns he should call to confirm the documents.He refused to call and insisted I call.I told him someone was wrong and I asked, was he saying I, or the Notary was wrong? He answered he was doing it for 15 years and he could not accept the documents.At that point I told him that we would transfer the money elsewhere.It is hard to argue with someone who is so lacking in insight.I did phone to the call centre to register a complaint.The document had a stamp and was an original document with my and the Notary's signature on it.Dragging someone to the credit union is tough enough, imagine if the person has full on Alzheimer, now they have to get a doctor'snote too.All I wanted to do is to roll over her cash to GICSs.When you can move millions with a few key strokes it is incredible frustrating.Financial institution have a failure in empathy and being proactive advising customers of potential roadblocks.It is more cover their own a... . Moving the money is the best solution in the end. When they don't value your time and effort move your business.
