May 4, 2019This evening my husband and I attended Cantala Women’s Choir ‘Petites Voix’. Congratulations to you and your choir for a wonderful evening of stirring, impressively performed choral music.The work required to memorize an entire programme is formidable, but the musical results were breath-taking. The choir’s diction, dynamic control, blend and attention to detail made for a beautiful concert. The Ave Maria may have been a beast to memorize, but its performance was well worth the effort.Congratulations on a very fine evening!

I've been with Cantala for almost 9 years and it still continues to give me opportunities for musical growth, and exposure to various styles of choral music in both this century and centuries past. The relationships that are built with the other singers are the icing on top of this musical cake. I sang with Cantala for a number of years (5?) and enjoyed this group for its musicality and community. Going every week became my therapy. Then life got in the way. Now that I have left Toronto I miss the group dearly but still enjoy listening to this ensemble that continues to get better and better each year.

Cantala is the choir that has everything that I can ever dream of. I found a group of like-minded ladies here to share my passion in music and love for the choral practice with and some of them even become important friends of my life. I really enjoy singing with Cantala because the choir is full of respect for each and every piece of music work. We devoted to delivering all the details in the music and hopefully, through our voice, the audience could capture a little piece of heart and soul of the composer’s.
