K & D Appliance Service Inc

Set up appointment through Best Buy (potential warranty issue) on a Friday with appointment scheduled for following Wednesday. They called on Monday and left a message, and I called them right back, and also left a message. The day of the appointment I called back and they said they couldn't show up for another week. Why would I get a confirmed date if they can't show up? Poor service, poor communication.

When GE used Sears for appliance repair the service was reliable. Since Sears and their service left it went elsewhere. Now K&D Appliance is doing GE appliance repair. Last Thursday we called GE and had a repair for our washer scheduled for 5 days later. On the day of the scheduled repair we get a call from K&D appliance. They tell us they are booked up until June 22 or July. And we would have to pay for our parts. Our washer had a 10 year warranty. If Sears still repaired appliances in Rapid City we would have had our washer repaired on the date given.6/22 the repairman showed up. He had the problem diagnosed in just over 5 minutes. Without opening up the washer. He did several things with the panels. He has me call my wife and tells her that she needs a new washer. He says it would be cheaper to buy a new washer than to fix it. Then he tells her that oil is dripping underneath the washer. He said he noticed this when he lifted the washer. I watched him the whole time and never seen him lift the washer. This guy lied to my wife. He just didn’t want to fix our washer.

I highly recommend K&D Appliance … they are the best in town! I have a big Kitchen-Aid oven that that no one was able to fix. Then someone recommended K&D. Ragen came over, diagnosed the problem, and fixed an oven that hadn’t worked for years. I then managed to have my smaller wall oven go out. Once again, Regan came over and gave great advice on my options to fix or replace it. K&D is prompt, professional and honest. I really appreciate their service!

Both our HVAC and our refrigerator had issues within months of each other, and K&D were able to help us weeks to months before anyone else could. Both times, the repairmen were very polite and knowledgable, and I never felt that they were trying to oversell me mislead me. They were able to repair my refrigerator and replace my HVAC system in a very timely manner! I would absolutely recommend K&D Appliance to anyone in need of repairs!

I have used K&D appliances for years! And every time they come over or when I call them they are respectful, honorable, knowledgeable and kind! Brent is fantastic! We almost always get him to work on our projects! Five star service everytime!

After 2 weeks of waiting for a part to come in we call to see if it had arrived and we find out they had cancelled our service call. Be careful dealing with this company as you will probably have to call daily to make sure everything is going as planned. It’s sad when a customer has to work to make sure a business can keep there own appointments.

Brent came to our house to service our fridge and stove. He was so friendly and very professional. As soon as he walked in we explained the problem of what we believed was going on and he immediately got to working on it. Our fridge was complicated but he was so determined to fix this problem of ours and he did it. A couple days later he gave us a courtesy call to make sure everything was still working correctly and someone can really make your day by just being friendly and positive!

Had my freezer repaired by Kent a few months ago and today had Bryce install a new water heater..both men were very knowledgeable, friendly and did a great job...a very pleased customer...will recommend this company to anyone!
