My teacher is pretty cool ngl

If you have any questions, it better be during business hours because their voicemail fills up very quickly and they don't seem to have an email address. What kind of business doesn't have an email address nowadays?I don't have a problem with the teachers, it's just how the business is run.

I am really disappointed with their way to ‘select’ students. My kids have been going to Agape Learning Center for couple years since JK/SK and all in a sudden we have been told that classes are full and we won’t able to send our kids to the classes. At first my husband called the office, a lady told him that there are remarks on the file and asked my husband to call back later to check. When my husband tried his second call, one of the staffs told him that all classes are full. We felt kind of strange for that ‘remarks’ so I decided to call again to check on the later day. I asked the staff if there is any spot left for the classes that I am interested and they replied there are still couple spaces left. But when I told them my kids’ name and they said the classes are full. They never explain the ‘remarks’ they put on our kids’ file and never explain the reason not accepting our kids. Their mission statement in their website is “to provide learning opportunities for students of our community in their leisure time” and I guess they better put “to provide learning opportunities for SELECTIVE students”. I am also a Christian and I strongly recommend they change their school name since their way on selecting the students doesn’t match “God’s Love and God’s Grace”.

The smell is funny

One of the staff here deserves no 'star' at all. I brought my kid in for a math assessement. Before I went, I made phone call just to make sure they are open. Upon the time this staff greeted us, she said there is a $20 cash assessment fee. I didn't think I brought enough cash because I just switched a purse and only put 2 credit cards in it. So she said that I had to come back again. By the time I was walking out of the door, she mumbled, 'it's only $20', as if mocking me that I didn't have cash with me.Her attitude was very pathetic but also upset me very much. I walked back in to point out what she said was wrong and caught her complained about me in Cantonese to her colleague. When I confronted her in Cantonese, she was obviously shocked.I heard good reviews from people I know that their math practice was not bad, so wanted to give it a try. No one told me on the phone that there was a cash assessment fee. Nor they accept credit card, for a registered school??? Why cash only? Why your staff so synical when people didn't have cash with them???Later I looked up my purse that I did have a $50 bill. But at that point, I really didn't want to go back.Was it worth to endure such attitude, even their math teaching is okay? absolutely not!This Agape Learning Centre has been around for a long time. It was founded by 2 Christians that I know of long time ago. Sadly, the staff (at least one of them) was not acting properly to reflect the meaning of Agape. This is just sad.

EVERY PART OF THIS CLASS IS JUST BAD LITERALLY THE LEVEL 5 TEACHER YELLS AT US AND DOESNT EVEN TREAT US LIKE WERE STUDENTS SHE TREATS US LIKE GARBAGE PLEASE UNEMPLOY HER I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS -0 STARS BECAUSE OF THE VALUE AND EVERYTHING.

Worst place ever!! They don’t even have enough money to buy their own place! They have to rent a school. Teachers can’t speak English and their methods are complicated and inefficient.
