Just Clean Water

I bought a Big Berkey system last year from Just Clean Water. The reason I decided to purchase one was because a good friend of mine had one in their home. When I tried the water that was purified in the Berkey system, I noticed a difference in the taste immediately! The consistency of the water felt smoother as I drank it as well. It was so light and seemed so pure. It didn't have any sort of metal taste or heavy mineral feel to it that some bottled waters can have. It also didn't even have any scent attached to it, like tap water sometimes does. At first I was hesitant to get a Berkey because of the upfront cost of around $400. I then I thought about the struggles of lugging cases of water down the road by hand on a regular basis (since I don't drive). With the Berkey I would just have to replace the filters every couple years. There would be no more lugging heavy cases of water down the street because you just fill the Berkey up with tap water and it filters it for you. The Berkey water tastes better as well and is known to remove more impurities than other filtration systems. After thinking about all of that, I realized it was worth it to get one. It would be something I would use on a daily basis. Since getting my Berkey, I've actually started to drink more water each day. I've even started using the water from the Berkey to cook, and to make ice cubes with because I know that the Berkey filters out so much of the junk" tap water and even bottled water can have.
