My favorite bao in Vancouver! What I love the most is how soft the bun is!- BBQ Pork baked bun: soft bun with slight crusty outside. The filling was flavorful & delicious!- Bola-bola (chicken deluxe) bun: soft bun with mixed fillings (chicken, ham, pork & egg yolk). The filling was good and not too salty- Racy yolk bun: love the creamy sweet & savory egg yolk filling!- Ube bun: highly recommended because it’s our favorite! The ube filling was sweet enough and smooth. Get this in the morning as they might sold out in the afternoon

Tried a red bean donut and apple tarts. They were fresh with right amount of sweetness. Disappointed with their customer service, but the pasteries were fine. Would like to try their buns next time.

Tried this a few months ago and has become one of my favorite spots for a quick snack/treat. The cinnamon twists are amazing

So many delicious baked goods here. Be sure to try their bbq pork buns - they are big and loaded with char siu. The apple tarts are a must try as well.

They have lots of options for Chinese buns: baked, steamed and frozen buns. Bbq pork steamed bun is the best one for me. Purple yam and egg yolk are also really tasty, but I prefer less sweetness. Price now is $3.75/ bun, pretty decent for the portion and taste.

Love the steamed BBQ pork buns….they have gotten smaller with less filling though. What needs improving is the look of the bun…..not very sealed. Use to have a rounded top. Now they’re flat, with a hole at the top. There’s one in my pic that looks like it was patched up!

Stopped in here to grab a few buns. I was the only one there. I asked the staff what was the most popular and she said the steam buns. So I got the following:BBQ pork steamed Bun - I enjoyed it more than the baked. The filling was not overly salty and had a decent amount of filling. The bun was soft and not rubbery or hard.BBQ pork baked Bun - it was a good bun but just not as soft as the steam bun. Filling was the same.Egg Tarts - the egg tarts were ok. Not as buttery as I like. The crust was flaky but lacked the buttery flavour and texture. The custard middle was not as rich as what I am used to.If I go back I would skip on the egg tarts and I would love to try their red bean steam buns.
