I attended KDSS during the early 90s and the abuse I suffered was so severe that the principal, vice principal and guidance counselor all called me into the office one day and tried to encourage me to drop out. I'm sure they were afraid I was going to commit suicide because they knew I was suicidal and in therapy because of trauma caused by my elementary school St Anthony's. The students who abused me in St Anthony's continued abusing me in KDSS and encouraged others to follow suit. Not a single day went by that I wasn't abused by other students in that school and no one protected me even though they all knew what was happening. I am still suffering from cptsd because of the abuse that took place in both St Anthony's and KDSS.I also had to graduate late because I was in the co-op program and was assigned to the local pet shop. I was fired" because the store owner's son hated me (he didn't even know me he just was friends with a group of boys who bullied me) who insisted his mother get rid of me. I lost 2 credits and had to do correspondence courses in order to graduate because of it.The only saving grace for that school was my resource teacher who actually cared if I did well.Please remember that bullying has long lasting consequences and the trauma caused is often permanent."

Went here before it was a school for seniors, still no wheelchair basketball league. 1/5 would still dunk old people
