MStar Hotel Kitimat

Immaculate hotel, great location, but I am not considering staying there anymore. One bad experience with the front desk left a bad taste in my mouth.She refuses to to give me two water bottles even I was willing to pay for it. She was not willing to listen or help me. I have to go out to get two bottles of waterI never seen such a horrible customer service.I am a seasoned traveller from last seven years 45 weeks in a year and this is my worst experienceI hope hotel management read this review and train their employees again

I can honestly say that this was one of the best hotel stays I've had during the pandemic, as I've needed to travel for work a fair bit. Not only were the rooms spotless, spacious, quiet and incredibly comfortable, but it was the personal touches that made all the difference: a welcome note, a personalized breakfast bag, and a check-in to make sure my room was exactly what I was hoping for. It all made me feel very valued and welcome. If I'm ever back in the area again, I will 100% stay here. Thank you for a 10/10 experience!

Rented a room at the Mstar hotel the night of october 21st. The shower valve was broken.I informed the staff the following morning, recommended a contractor out of kitimat who could do the work well, offered my number if they couldn't find a contractor and I could help, suggested they check all the other rooms becuase there were other rooms with probably the same issue, and said if the manager wanted to call me she was more then welcome to, I would help.She had called, and said it would be refunded. I was impressed, but then never saw a credit. I inquired again, and then saw a 30 dollar credit on a 200 dollar room.Just got off the phone with her, and I asked why I was only refunded 30 dollads, she told me not to tell her how to do her job, she said she could take the 30 dollar credit back if i would like, said that she has 35 current contracts for rooms out of the building and she doesnt need this, and if I wasn't satisfied I can take it up with the credit card company.I even, sincerely, said on the phone, I wasn't trying to tell anyone how to do thier job, and I was only trying to offer assistance when I knew they were busy, and probably understaffed. I didn't even want a FULL refund, but that I thought a 50% would be fair. When she said I can dispute it, and I asked how, she said take it up with your credit card company.The manager said you can dispute it if you would like

An overall great place. Very clean. Nicely set up. Great service.

She took my deposit with NO explanation as 2 why she wouldn't return it, most likely she pocketed it 4 herself!! COWS

Awesome modern hotel with wonderful staff!!! Great location downtown..Room was really quiet and so spacious. A great deal!!! There was bagels and muffins in the lobby all day. Also Cassandra at checking was so very helpful and friendly. We will certainly be staying here again!! Would highly recommend staying here when in Kitimat !!!Looking forward to our next stay here!!

I had to park my truck in a area that was not big enough to ac accommodate a truck 75 feet long. There was a car parked in same area so I had to jack knife My truck to almost fit. I will be staying in terrace from now on where there is enough room for large trucks and I recommend to my company that our other drivers do the same

The Mstar is great. This was our second stay in 4 years. The staff are friendly and super helpful. The rooms and common areas are very clean. Centrally located in downtown Kitimat, it is quick access to all the areas within Kitimat. Thank You MStar!
