Had 3 large trees taken down near power line and all brush removed. the work was down quickly and professionally. Good job.

Extremely impressed with this company!We lost a tree in high winds on Xmas Day, left them an email on Boxing Day and received a call from Josh the same day (did not expect a callback on a holiday).Josh came and provided a quote on Dec 27 and the tree has now been removed on Dec 28.Note that this must have been an extremely busy time for them due to the windstorm.The guys that removed the tree did an excellent job as the cable line to the house was entangled in the tree but they were able to save it.As noted in other reviews, Josh is very professional and the rates were very reasonable.Quality workmanship is hard to come by these days but Davey Tree far exceeded my expectations.

Great people and top notch equipment and knowledgeable. Might be helpful if they brought a battery operated blower so I didn't have to do the final clean up on the driveway after they swept following putting the tree through the chipper, but otherwise awesome!!!

I had Davey Trees serving Northumberland in to look after my trees. 1st time visit the guys left a mess & did not finish the job as stated by the owner. So he came back & cleaned up & finished the job for me. 2nd time I hired them, the owner at my visit to go over everything, said because of my dissatisfaction the 1st time, he would be out to supervise. He did not show up, 2 guys came out, butchered" my one tree

Had a tree come down in the Christmas storm. He was the more expensive quote but was going to “look after everything”. Chatted about the stump and the stump grinding I had done 3 years previously in my back yard by another company. I signed the quote (my bad) assumed that ground level included the stump grinding we were chatting about and it would be level with the rest of the ground in my yard. I called head office twice and he said he would get back to me and never did follow up. Messaged the guy who quoted job and got caught on the technical quote of “cut stump to ground level”, not what we discussed and not what I understood ground level to be. Unfortunately for me ground level is vertical to the actual ground and the root system is 2+feet above ground level and I can pay more later to have that fixed later.(I feel like I just took my used car to the mechanic as a single female)

Shelley and I had Davey Tree Expert Co. attempt to relocate a memorial Weeping Crabapple as we were moving and wanted the tree to come with us. Unfortunately, the tree could not be moved without potentially killing the tree. The workers kept us informed of their progress and clearly expressed their concerns as the work was being done. Since the relocation was not possible, we had them plant a Weeping Crabapple on our new property. We were very happy with their professionally and highly recommend their services.Adam & Shelley

A couple days after the removal of five trees and we are extremely happy. Josh was professional, responded quickly and was able to organize everything in a timely manner. The crew on site did such a great job! We recommend and plan on using their services in the future.
