This liquor store is a gem. Massive wine, beer and spirit selection. Lots of unique labels and small batch items. I'm keeping this place in mind for when I'm seeking something new to try.

Prices are typically cheaper than BCL and taxes are always included as listed. Great selection of product and if they don't have what you're looking for, they'll usually order it in for you upon request and with no commitment. To the previous reviewer who complained about staff being too chatty with friends, yes it happens but I see that as a sign of them making an effort to build rapport with customers. Staff at John B are far more knowledgeable and willing to help than service I've received elsewhere!

Used to go every Friday for lunch 30 yrs plus.....however have slowed down since they replaced the table and chairs with Hi top chairs and tables....BUT....don't let that stop you....great people...good food....

Very rude staff with terrible service. I was told “hurry up, there are people waiting” when there was barely a lineup. I did not make a purchase, and I will not be returning.

I'm a regular client of this liquor store and I am quite stunned by the lack of knowledge on their wine selection when I need some advice. Plus a couple of young and inexperienced sales reps act in a cavalier manner at times .. All I expect from you guys is just a smile and a bit of consideration as a loyal customer since 2018.. Merci

Used credit card and it was declined. Called Bank credit into and they said nothing wrong with credit card. Called John B and was advised thatmachines often decline but no one knows why Seems to me thatsomeone at J B shoud resolve the problem or lose customers. They aren't the only liquor outlet in town. Bad attitude for a business!
