One word: delicious. The food is absolutely amazing here, and we really appreciated the updated renovations. We found that the fish was a tolerable level of spice and was seasoned well. In addition, the rice here was amazing, having supposedly been cooked with spring water. Furthermore, we really appreciated the hot fruit tea, which was free in addition to being good. The only reason a star gets docked is because everything here is overpriced.

The complimentary flower tea was really unique and nice. The fish had a soil taste to it which hasn’t very good. The chicken wings need more seasoning, at least put some salt and pepper on it. The beef noodle was mediocre.

I haven't been here since they reopened. To be honest, I preferred the taste before they did so compared to now.This place always takes a while, usually an hour for dinner. The service is real good though, with all the waiters being polite and nice. Even though the food isn't as good as it used to be, I reckon it's still pretty decent. If you're into spicy stuff, you ought to give it a go.

Been here many times before Covid hit. Today is the first time after they have completed the renos.New interior is modern and has open kitchen, everything seems quite spacious and nice.The service is above my expectation, I mean the best service I’ve seen this year in any restaurant. The host girl is so welcoming, all servers are young and good looking, very polite and friendly. First time to feel obligated to pay good tips lolFood wise, still very decent fish and other dishes. The floral tea is quite nice. I would suggest to have more vegetables options for the fish like before.Anyway, top notch dining experience, food and service wise, thump up!

Very delicious! We ordered the large size Chinese sauerkraut fish for the 4 of us, with a few side dishes, and that was plenty enough food for us. I'd recommend the feast size if you have 5 or more people. I would come back again.

Restaurant is basically brand new after renovations. Fish and chicken were really good. Would definitely come back again as I really love spicy food.

This is my 2nd time visiting but the first since the rebrand and remodel. I really like the decor and ambience of the interior!My absolute favorite dish is the Deep Fried Ricecakes with Brown Sugar. The texture is so soft and chewy!Although I do wish the side dishes were a little larger.The Sauerkraut Fish is so delicious, we ordered seconds of the largest size. While the dish is very large and grandoise, the contents are less than it seems. I like the packaging the napkins come in, and every table has a drawer with extra napkins and chopsticks.Overall, everything was great, would come again!

Too bad we don't have one in SF... Went here twice when we were in Vancouver last time,and it's great! Hot and spicy,just wish there was less oil because I would love to drink some of the soup. It tasted better the first time though (stronger flavors), not sure if it was because it was later in the day (the second time was right when it opened) or because of the size (we got a small the first day and the largest option the second day).
