The repair was done on time.When another part went, they were honest and informative as to our options and let us decide to fix or by new from wherever we decided.We wish it would of been said at the time of the first repair that dishwashers have a limited life span.

Shaughnessy appliance repair was used to fix my Frigidaire Oven under warranty. When the techs left my oven heated up very slow and my top burners only heated on 1 side of the pan. The oven was somewhat repaired but now I have a new problem...it takes forever to heat up. The top burners had the same problem as before. The techs never phoned Frigidaire support for techs (I ound this out later talking to Frigidaire). I call the manager and he refused to send out the techs again to check there work with out me paying. I called Frigidaire and after sometime they put in a work order in to fully pay Shaughnessy parts and labor to repair my oven a second time. Shaughnessy refused to come. I called Frigidaire and they told my to hire another company. I hired Conk Appliance repair who came to my home and tested the oven. Shaughnesssy did not hook up the wire for the top oven burner....no broiler and slow to heat. The burners where not centered on the glass images so only half the pan heats up. Can you imagine there is adjustment slots to move the burners forward or back to get them in the center of the glass images. Shaughnessy put in all new burners and both computer boards to fix my burners and left it not repaired. Do not hire Shaughnessy repair...they put in parts that are not needed. Hire Conk Appliance repair! They do a proper diagnoses before the ordering parts. Conk Appliance Repair put in no parts and fixed the oven. Thank-you to Frigidaire for paying for the second party repair.

The service technician was able to explain how my new computerized washing machine worked as I did not receive a manual and all avenues taken with the manufacture resulted in no help whatsoever. Very frustrating when you have not purchased a machine in over 20 years and no body explains the proper way to start the washer. Technician was very patient with me and took great care to make sure I understood all of the buttons etc. Even the tech could not find a manual on line to explain how to use this new washer.

Washing machine was broken, did some basic troubleshooting and provided that to Shaughnessy.Few days later, they arrived with the part. Not only replacing the part but confirming everything is working right with the washing machine. Super nice guys. Highly recommend!!

The tech who came to repair my washer advised I would have to remove the dryer from on top of it (stackable pair) before he could complete the repair. I heard" this company was lazy and I should try someone else. I found another company who came in and did the repair without removing the dryer. I paid Shaughnessy ($140) for bad advice which would have cost me another couple hundred to get someone in to remove and then replace the dryer

Shaughnessy Appliance is the BEST of the Best. I placed two separate service calls over a two week period and had two amazing technicians fix my oven, and address my dryer issues, as well as fixed my elderly mothers oven too! She had three unsuccessful attempts at fixing her oven, until we called Shaughnessy to the rescue! So efficient - right from the initial phone call! Aimee, instantly made me and my mother feel like we were important, we knew we had called the right company to do our repairs. She arranged the repairs, and the technicians in a timely fashion. They were prompt, polite, knowledgeable and such nice people, and the price was right too! Thank you Shaughnessy Appliance Service Ltd., you really are the best!

Cash in hand, I brought the damaged water inlet valve for a Whirlpool Duet clothes washer hoping to get a new one from a local parts supplier....what I received was pure disappointment. Now, I would understand if the shop was loaded with customers but, it was completely empty. Do you have the model number? Do you have the part number? Maybe I could have or, maybe I should have gone behind the counter and searched for the part myself. I thought bringing the actual part would be beyond enough. Was I wrong! Not even a feeble attempt to find the part coupled with excuses.In the age of information it took me approximately 2.5 minutes at home to find the part and have it delivered to my house in 5 days without the model or part number...only the image. This my friends is a perfect example of how the service industry is being destroyed only to pave the way for online shopping. Well done.Coincidentally, the association you make regarding auto parts holds little water... I've been purchasing hard to find vintage auto part for over 3 decades and found, there are people who bend over backwards, people who can't help you and people who won't. To not even try is just plain sad.

Not able to fix our washing machine that is only a month old. Technician said we are washing too small of loads and it is causing the machine to rattle and jump around. Sister in law has the same machine and does not have the same problem. I wish I could return the machine and buy a different brand!

They were great. My mom was at my house when the technician came. Once he knew what the issue was, he called and discussed the options and pricing and all the details with me and then he called again when he was all done just to give the heads up. It was a quick fix and has been working ever since.

AMAZING SERVICE. Had some issues with my in wall oven. Shaughnessy came, took a look and ordered some parts. The next week they sent a service technician by name of Brandon. This guy was beyond professional. Super friendly, very knowledgeable, and explained what went wrong and what he did to fix it. He answered every question I had thoroughly and even gave some advice on what to do to keep the home appliances going for the long run. INCREDIBLE service from Shaughnessy and kudos to you Brandon.
