First, I had requested Dr Adams, he had come recommended by many. My family doctor made the same request for Dr Adams but Dr Hackett was the Dr who saw me, I was not told I would be seeing Dr Hackett by anyone.This was my first skin check, I’m fair skinned and freckled so thought it was best to get checked.Dr Hackett came into the room like a whirlwind and very abrupt and obviously in a huge rush. I was checked over so fast it was a blur, she was telling resident notes and didn’t ask me many questions, mostly just lectured on sunscreen because of my skin tone and proneness to skin cancer. It’s fine I support the reminder but I felt instead of taking the time to have some bedside matters and get to know me as a new patient I seemed an inconvenience. I will note I was on time for an 8am appointment.As I said Dr Adams was highly recommended so I assume I am a low percentage that had a bad experience but wanted to share my experience.

First time here and went in for a lipoma biopsy in my forearm, Dr.Adams instead was able to just cut it out completely and send it to the lab and was done in less than 2 minutes. Now my forearm is pain free and left a very tiny incision mark. What an impressive clinic. All of the staff were awesome from start to finish.

Was early but didn’t get in until half an hour after my booked time. The doctor seemed to not be happy with me asking any questions and was short and abrupt. I thought I was having a lump removed but was told curtly that it was a consultation only because ‘I don’t know you’. However the person who booked my appointment failed to mention that it was just a consultation. The whole appointment was very rushed and unpleasant like I was a bother, and the nurse afterwards shoved a piece of paper in my hand, said the procedure is $300 and left the room. No niceties, nothing. The receptionist I dealt with was polite but not particularly friendly and the waiting room was full. I would suggest that overbooking is an issue there. Don’t plan on going there again.

Dr. Adams didn’t even take the time to figure out what was wrong with me, I had itchy bumpy skin for weeks and he gave me a prescription and sent me away after looking at me for 15 seconds. They also sent the prescription as double the dose it was supposed to be. When i went back for my 2 week checkup they didn’t offer any other solution except an expensive UV light treatment without actually knowing what was wrong with me. Very unprofessional and it seems like they’re just trying to make money.

I went in for moderate acne I’ve been struggling with regularly since hitting puberty into my adult years & their 1st option for me was accutane - which might help some if they’ve tried everything else & had severe acne, but considering the many negative side effects on your entire body (not just skin alone), this really shouldn’t be the 1st option provided. Not saying it’s always a bad option, but it should be near or last resort… Dr. Adams also did not seem to care. They seem to want to just write a prescription so they get paid but otherwise don’t care about the patient themselves. I would be very cautious if you go here…

Dr. Boothe is soo patient, very thorough and caring, felt very comfortable seeing her. The added bonus of having the the cosmetic and laser dermatology right next door was that i had the opportunity of getting a consultation with Ray - and she was so knowledgeable and amazing. Tracy was able to join in my consultation and help give more skin care advice as well. Very impressed with this team of intelligent professionals!

i have been seeing Dr. Adams annually for mole check ups, and he has always been great dealing with multiple concerns at my appointment aside from that, and is knowledgeable & professional. The only downside is that some of their treatments (ED for whiteheads) is a bit extreme. But the quality of visit and service is definitely there.

Dr.Boza was awesome, whole staff was polite, and professional. Dr Boza and her assistant (sorry I forgot your name) were patient, to the point and calm. Made my appointment feel like I was heard. If I ever need to go back. It will be a pleasure.

i came here with hopes of improving my acne/skin and i was rather disappointed. wasted three months waiting to see my doctor, then was put on antibiotics and tazarotene, the antibiotics worked ( my skin was almost perfect until my persctiption ran out then it legitimately went back to the state before treatment) and the tazarotene didn’t work at all so i just wasted another 4 months of my effort, money and time and i’m extremely dissatisfied. between being unable to contact them, their staff not making check up appointments and the wait time being months on months is a pretty hurtful experience. peoples well being shouldn’t be treated like a cash grab. if they know that people are on a treatment plan they should keep track of their patients instead of making it virtually impossible to get your medication and be seen by your derm. i’ve gained multiple scars from the tazarotene treatment and the purging it caused which was fine, but the fact my skin completely reverted after the antibiotics directly after i asked for a refill/ checkup to say they were working ( oh yeah wait another two months till your next appointment even though they know your skin will revert completely)is absolutely irritating; and probably a cash grab. i feel extremely disrespected and depressed at this outcome. if i never started the tazarotene i wouldn’t have any of these scars, and i’m absolutely livid that my times been wasted like this. i do not honestly recommend this place if you truly want to fix your skin.

Dr Adams has been my dermatologist for 20 years in Calgary. In my teens he helped my skin & self esteem with accutane. Now into my 40’s he helping me maintain my skin health & esthetic. His staff always informs me of the treatment benefits and risks. I have had laser treatment and fillers done and am extremely satisfied with their office.Thank you Chelsea & Tina for always making me feel comfortable!!
