I have been shopping at BnS for years ...back in the mid 2000's when I had my staffy terrier, Kingsley and lived just up the road from the store and now again, for the past six years since getting my bordercollie lab mix, living down at Queen & Broadview. I have never had a bad experience with this lovely, family owned shop. They even deliver! Thanks so much for being an amazing local business!

Was having a hard time finding a way to get cat food despite a lockdown and some shops being nonresponsive to requests — folks recommended Bark n Scratch, so I placed an order for my desperately hungry, picky-eater kitty. Within two hours, my delivery was at my door (the friendly person who delivered it stayed at a safe distance but made sure I got it), and my kitty is happy as can be. Prices are fair, selection is good, and you can't beat that kind of speed or service! Thank you so much! I feel much better knowing there's a good local shop I can count on to keep my kitty fed. ♥

I love this place, the owner has quite literally watched my dog grow up so I may be a little bias. Since the first say I went into this store the owner was very kind and she was very patient and willing to offer good helpful advice when asking about products.This place is very underrated and one of the cheapest stores I've been to for good quality dog food. It's small but it's packed with so many essential things for your pet.

Went there to get food for my kitten. They were super helpful and very knowledgeable! Gave very good advice that I couldn't get from the vet and even gave free food samples. Ended up buying tons of stuff and will definitely be returning there for anything else :)

I have been a neighbor of Bark and Scratch for nearly 13 years.Shopped at this store for my siamese cats for years.This store offers a personal touch to their customers, and they are very knowledgeable when it comes to recommending the proper foods for your pets.Big box stores don't have the same feel and personal welcoming as Bark and Scratch.Shop at this store and you'll know what I mean.
