Bill and Catherine are fantastic! Friendly, accommodating, professional and happy when their guests and performers are happy. Can't say enough about how appreciative we are to have them, and the Grand Maple in the Hastings, Northumberland community!

The Grand Maple Event Centre is a hidden gem here in Trent Hills. We have been to numerous events at the centre from concerts, parties to open mikes and all have been incredible. Thanks to Bill and Catherine for bringing so many great acts to our small village and having such a unique and intimate venue.

We have nothing but great things to say about the Grand Maple Event Centre! As a Wedding DJ company, we see a lot of venues, and what really stood out about this one was how wonderful the staff were to work with, and how warm and familiar the venue felt.This truly is a charming and elegant venue nestled right in Hastings. We hosted our first ever Black and White Medieval Masquerade Ball at the Grand Maple and I could have not asked for a better venue. Our hostesses Bill Ma and Catherine were so helpful not only prior to the event but also during it.What I loved most of the place is that for my event there was minimum decoration since the place is so beautiful it needed almost nothing to make it look gorgeous.Our guests loved every moment of it and we finished our night feeling happy and accomplished.This venue in Hastings, Ontario is without a doubt the best place to celebrate all kinds of events like we weddings, anniversaries, balls, business events, and pretty much anything you can think of.

We recently hosted a wedding here, and could not have been more pleased! Aside from the venue being absolutely stunning, Bill and Catherine provided assistance along the way and helped make sure everything the day of went smoothly. Added bonus of a closeby Airbnb within short walking distance, and great location for photos down by the water makes Grand Maple an amazing venue for anyone who might be looking! Our family held a Celebration of Life Event at Grand Maple for our mother. I had never planned an event like this before. The venue is stunning, as the name states, it is ‘grand’. Catherine and Bill were fabulous at walking me through the steps, and providing different options. Bill helped a lot with my personal technology challenges. They allowed us plenty of time to prepare the room as we liked to personalize it for my mum. They also provided help right down to the smallest detail. The food, including presentation, was perfect. After the event we were provided with some pictures that were taken, which was a thoughtful touch. Guests commented on what a beautiful setting Grand Maple is. We are so pleased that we chose Grand Maple. It was the perfect afternoon to celebrate my mum.

We held our board orientation meeting there the end of June and Bill and Catherine went above and beyond with service and catering. The venue is unique and adaptable to just about any event. The AV equipment they have helped make our presentations a breeze and there is great flexibility with set-up for events. We really enjoyed it and would definitely hold another event there.

Writing this review on behalf of my Mother: Jacqueline Beamish. I was so happy to celebrate my 90th Birthday in such a special and memorable building such as this. The Grand Maple was once my church where I attended for 60 years before Catherine and Bill Ma discovered this treasure. It is such a lovely event centre and the hosts are so easy to work with and went out of their way to make this day very special for me and my family. We were impressed with the service, the set up of the tables and helping with a caterer and allowing us to access the music, to bring flowers and decorations. There were many choices to make that they helped with to make this such a special celebration. The food and beverage service was excellent.My family so enjoyed seeing the building brought to such a beautiful state and that it is enjoyed by so many people for so many kinds of events. The sound system makes the music and individual voices even better, and everyone thru out this building can hear very clearly. Catherine and Bill make everyone feel so very welcome. The service is exceptional and everyone can feel very comfortable attending or organizing an event with their help. Thank you so much.

We could not have been more pleased! The venue is stunning to start! Bill and Catherine were so amazing and you can tell they are truly passionate about what they do. I felt like they were so helpful and had such great tips and ideas along the way. Had an amazing time here at the open mike event on thursday evening . Great people and great music by various entertainers. The acoustics in the venue are awsome being that the building was formally a church .
