Our wedding florals were absolutely gorgeous! I can’t say enough kind things about the quality of service and attention to detail. The bride bouquet was incredible, ceremony pieces were so beautiful, and everything was just a dream come true for us. Thank you to Ralph and the entire team for creating such special pieces for our day. We are so grateful for the lovely florals on our wedding day!

We chose Blue Lakes Floral Design for our Canmore wedding in June 2022 and this was an absolutely incredible choice that we made! Ralph was very accommodating to my wishes, and was able to make changes to my order as needed throughout the planning process. Our ceremony took place outdoors and we had an arch that we wanted flowers for. Ralph did an excellent job setting this up perfectly and efficiently. Our bouquets arrived fresh and well- made, with no issue of flowers/stems/greenery coming loose and falling out throughout the day. The selection in florals was beautiful and the colors were true to my tastes and matched our color palette well. While wedding florals are expensive no matter where you go, I found Ralph's pricing to be quite fair and competitive in the market, particularly for a destination wedding.If you are on the hunt for fresh florals at your wedding, I would highly recommend Blue Lakes Floral Design. They will create works of art for your wedding day that you can then keep forever in the form of dried flowers, pressed wall art, or resin artwork (my personal favorite) to commemorate your big day.

I dont have all our photos back to show the true magnificence of our florals but Ralph and Blue Lake Florals were a KEY vendor for our wedding. Ralph responded so quickly and went above and beyond to tailer our florals to my desires (which changed a few times - sorry Ralph!) but seriously, there was not a missed spot in our venue where we could have had florals that Ralph did not capitalize on, every detail had been thought of and the arrangements were absolutely stunning. I can not recommend them enough!!

We were absolutely thrilled with our florals for our wedding at the Malcolm Hotel in Canmore. I gave Ralph my color pallet, sent a few inspiration photos, and he took it from there! He truly made my vision into a reality and blew all my expectations out of the water. Ralph is talented, thoughtful, organized, and a great communicator. His arrangements were high quality, breathtaking, lasted for days, and BONUS… were affordable!!! We would 100% recommend Blue Lakes Floral Design to anyone!! You will not regret it.

Working with Ralph was my absolute favorite part of wedding planning!! I dreamed of having a custom arch made but didn't know if I could afford it with everything else that I needed. Ralph took my budget and Pinterest board and came up with a full florals plan including bridal and bridesmaids' bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, aisle pieces, centerpieces, and a custom free-standing arch all within my budget!! I also loved the process of deciding which flowers would be used for each piece and the online portal he uses made it super easy to keep all the categories of florals clear and organized. He was extremely patient and kind with me going through all the edits.This was the one part of wedding planning I did by myself and felt like I got to do 100% for me (my husband is terribly colorblind) and the only part that was 100% stress-free with Ralph providing delivery and set-up of both the ceremony and reception. My biggest regret is that I never got the chance to meet Ralph in person on the day and thank him profusely for making my wedding even more beautiful than I dreamed. The aisle pieces especially were the main element to the decor of both our ceremony and reception and they still bring me such joy looking at them in photos. Just look at these photos and run don't walk to book Blue Lakes Floral Design!! I promise you'll be blown away!

Ralph did a lovely job with the flowers at the wedding. He was reliable and made adjustments as we went and was competitively priced. He made great suggestions and worked within our budget. Everything was dropped off on time and looked great, thanks for the great job :)Our only complaint is the flowers that were prepared for the cake- they looked gorgeous but when taken out, the green tape was left behind in the cake and we found we were eating it at the reception and were very confused what the waxy green things were in the cake. Not sure if there is another option for cake flowers but worth noting.

WOW is what I said when I walked into my wedding reception space. Ralph’s take on “wildflower forest floor” absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. It was whimsical, wild, and so full of texture! I could not stop staring at the table runner all night. My bouquet was perfect and he even added flowers to the cake by request.I didn’t have an official color scheme for my wedding but he took my dress design and vague “wildflower” request and came up with something truly magical. I highly recommend Blue Lakes Floral Design to any couple getting married near Canmore!!

I absolutely loved my wedding florals. Not only were they better then I had even imagined, but Ralph was so wonderful to work with. His process was great: he had an online portal where he listed each floral arrangement alongside an inspo image from my pinterest board + a description for each arrangement based on our conversations + a price. This process was very transparent and I felt very heard/listened to. He was always prompt to respond to my questions and was great when I made a few changes / requests. Very good value for quality as well.

Ralph was easy to work with and all the flowers were gorgeous and fresh! Thank you for making my dream come true. The colours matched perfect.
