Magic Nails

I do not recommend. $30 for a gel polish manicure (average pricing) but the technician was awful. I called to ask for Nancy or Kim as per reviews and she said no problem. Then I get to the salon and the owner said she couldn’t take me since she’s appointment only and was booked. That would’ve been fine if that was relayed to me from the get go.She had her mother do my nails. They had a Corelle dish with lukewarm to soak my nails. No soap and not hot enough so when I switched my hands, the water was ice cold.My nail shape wasn’t asked and wasn’t checked to make sure my nails were even with each other. The polish was applied sloppy. With air bubbles, debris, and uneven layers. Polish left under my nails and on my fingers. I asked her to fix two nails and she just filed down the polish on one nail and put a top coat on... leaving the texture and colour uneven. The other one wasn’t even touched. They also used a used paper nail file vs a brand new one. And they file the tops of your natural nails down for a gel polish with a mechanical grinder when you can easily do it with a nail file.They also don’t offer hand massages,hand lotion, or a hot towel for your hands as a service so not sure how this was a true manicure.They take only debit or cash.

I think I've been to every nail salon in Chatham Kent and never been completely satisfied. I never write reviews but this was my 4th visit to Magic nails and I am happy to say, I will not be going anywhere else!! Jason has been a fantastic technician, every time. He gives great attention to detail, yet fast & efficient. He has listened to exactly what I've wanted and delivered, every visit. So glad I found this fabulous salon!

Highly recommend. Got my nails done for my wedding and they did an amazing job on the nail art. It’s a family run salon and they really make you feel welcome. Will be back next month before my honey moon. Thanks Nancy for my beautiful nails.

Went in and asked for bio gel!! They did acrylic and didn’t buff the nails right and left dimples on the tops! Worst experience ever!! Very unhappy!!!!

The best nail salon you can go to, even my husband enjoys the occasional pamper! The sweetest nail technicians you will ever get. Nancy is my main go to but if she is not around definitely her sister Kim and her mom Lisa will do a fantastic job as well.

Awesome service and I love my nails

Very disappointed, took 2 and half hours poor quality of nail polish did not shape my nails the way I wanted also had explain how to put the glitter on after she attempted it 3 times. And the price changed from the time I called and by the time I left.

Honestly the best in town. I make appointments with Nancy and I am never disappointed. My nails turn out amazing every time. Such a friendly environment too, everyone is very welcoming.Highly recommend!!
