Dog wash is pathetic at this location. Don't waste your$12 when the other 2 locations within 10 min have high pressure water and soap built into 1... your dog WILL get a better wash at the other locations. I have better water pressure at my home.. wasted my free wash here. Nice staff the only reason not getting a 1 star

I've always had wonderful experiences coming to this store, the sales staff are always friendly, courteous, and ask if we need help with anything. There are a couple of pet values in the area and this is the store I prefer as they try to get to know me.

10/10 service was AMAZING. Amber was the the attendant that helped me today and she was phenomenal! She was super helpful and knew about the products i was looking for the store was super clean with all this Covid stuff happening it was great to see, the store right now has a 2 person maximum and they have it all barricaded so you stand in the waiting area with products around you for your viewing. The attendant will grab you what ever you need. I was given a sample of dog treats as i told her my pooch was a picky eater, fingers crossed that he likes them. Great service and a clean store!!

The staff in the store tonight were extremely inviting as we walked in with our puppy! We were looking for multiple items for our puppy and cats. Benjamin was extremely helpful helping us gather what we needed as well as explaining all the store deals! We love Petvalu the service is alway friendly and helpfulThank you for your amazing service

Absolutely love the fact that that Pet Valu provides self serve dog wash stations for $10 and will continue to support this company going forward. However, I went in yesterday at around 10:30-11am to wash my 5 year old black German Shepard husky mix, and received the most unwelcoming service I’ve had from a pet store. After the bathe and dry for my dog I went to pay and the lady spoke to me in a very rude tone,“just so you know, dog washes have a 30minute time limit. You were there for over an hour.” I have never heard of such rule and could not find it anywhere on the website. I would have had no problem making necessary payments if need be. Fully grown German shepherds take time to bathe and dry. If you have a big dog, I strongly recommend stopping at the evanston PetValu just 8 minutes away. Amazing service and did not scold me for going over 30 minutes in my previous visits.

They have a lot of wonderful stuff for animals and also dog grooming in this location. But be careful since not too many on stock. Usually 3 or 4 and if you didn't buy online then don't expect it to be there when you visit their store.

Very friendly staff, clean store and great products. We used the bathing section and it was great! Lots of shampoo to choose from and the towels were provided. The blow dryer worked great and dried my Princess off quickly. If some smaller towels could be provided to be able to wash the dogs face, it would be much appreciated!

The dog wash is such a fantastic idea! It's only $10, you get shampoo, treats, towels and your dog is secure the whole time. Really nice little store with fair prices, I will definitely be using the dog wash from now on.

Came to use the pet wash because our dog was sprayed by a skunk last night. We did wash her at home last night, but wanted to get another wash in today. They told us to get out of the store immediately. No where on the website does it say you can’t come here if your dog has been skunked. Would have been a nice policy to know before driving all the way to this store.
