Dr Murphy’s receptionist was HORRIBLE. We had called in to book an appointment and she put us through voicemail so my mom called in again after some time thinking they might be busy and the receptionist finally answered the phone and was yelling and was just overall so disrespectful to my mom I couldn’t believe when my mom told the way the receptionist talked to her. When we confronted the receptionist she threatened to called the cops and she lied to Dr Murphy saying we were spam calling her dozens of times and that she was getting “annoyed” which is why she yelled at us over the phone. My goodness the anger in me I cannot begin explain, she should be fired! Period.

Trying to reach Dr. Spafford’s receptionist but after her lovely voicemail to be patient before calling back, it ends the call. No hold or voicemail option. I tried a few times and then chose another option to see if I could reach anyone. Dr. Sharma’s receptionist did answer and proceeded to tell me that I could keep trying and if I can’t get through, I should try again another day. Wow. This was probably the worst experience I’ve had with a medical admin. No attempt to help in any way. No offer to take a message to pass on or anything. Very disappointing.

Dr. Spafford’s receptionist is rude. Not very friendly at all in person or on the phone. If you don’t like your job then leave. I’m sure there’s others out there that would be grateful for your job.

Took my 3 year old daughter to emerg after an accident where she badly injured her nose - thank goodness for this guy, honestly. He came inbetween surgeries and stitched her back together and after a long healing process her nose looks amazing! I couldn’t reach his office for a follow up appointment and eventually gave up but he ended up calling me personally months later to book us in. Just saw him this week and we had another good experience with him. We are so thankful for Dr. Spafford and the staff at RUH!

My appointment was at 8:00, I was in a room immediately, reception was friendly. Dr. Spafford was kind, checked what he had to and we made a plan moving forward. Very efficient and nice to talk to. He sees a lot of patients in a day and I was happy with the amount of time he did take to see me.

I had an appointment at early morning and it was fairly busy. Dr. Neil Arnstead was answering all my questions and pretty helpful.

Clear your schedule if you make an appointment with Dr. Franke. An hour after my appointment was supposed to start I was told it would be another hour an a half wait. Apparently no one’s time matters except his, and he thinks people don’t have jobs they need to get back to. Had to rebook for 3 months later but will obviously be looking for a doctor who has respect for other peoples time.

I have not had my surgery yet, but I just have to say how happy I am with the staff at Dr. Spafford's office. Rochelle was so helpful, and made me feel comfortable to ask questions. She is very kind and great to talk to. My consult with Dr. Spafford went well and I can tell how experienced and knowledgable he is.

I got a referral to see doctor franke about a possible ear/jaw pain I had, he seemed uninterested in anything I had to say. He got me to put a hole in my ear drum and after it didn't work he told me *more tests would be a waste of tax payer dollars* even though he still didn't know why I still have the issue. And referred me to another doctor for steroid shots.

Dr. Spafford has absolutely no people skills. While getting a broken nose reset at the age of 17, I was nervous for the pain I was about to go through, tears streamed from my eyes and I was a bit hesitant to lay down because on top of everything I was not provided pain killers to prepare me for the procedure; Dr Spafford’s response was “I can leave your nose like this” implying that if I didn’t stop crying he was just going to walk away without resetting my nose. Go to him if you want a doctor that doesn’t care.
