Have been here a couple times now and it's absolutely amazing. The food is great, the drinks are outstanding and the service is even better.Their steak tartare is a must have and now that they are open for brunch it'll be a a new weekend favorite for us.Try the French toast if you have a sweet tooth, you won't be disappointed.

The best meal and service I’ve had in a long time. We choose the afternoon to visit and our server was the most wonderful person. She was very excited about all the food, made great recommendations and was always attentive.Every detail about a dish is thought about. Everything is made in house and done perfectly. We tried the beer pickles, perogi dip, Waldorf salad and the wood fired banana peppers. Definitely a great date place, or great place for those that love share dishes.Cannot wait to come back.

Biera serves fresh twists on classic dishes. I especially love the new brunch menu. We tried the English breakfast and the ambrosia French toast, and both were delicious. The atmosphere is lively and friendly.

What a special place in the beautiful Ritchie neighbourhood.I’ve heard so much about this restaurant & market and finally had the opportunity to pop in and check it out after recently moving to the area.Whether it’s coffee, beer, wine, cheese, pastries - they’ve got it all and so much is locally sourced.Everyone I spoke to was a wealth of information and full of smiles! I look so forward to a dinner date night here soon!

Had Mother’s Day brunch here yesterday, and we were very impressed with the meal. Highly recommend the eggs Benedict with a very excellent beer cheese sauce. Or the Florentine scrambled eggs on toast. Also, their bread is excellent. It did cost a fair amount, not the meal, which was excellent value and far less than I anticipated, but I immediately had to go out and buy the coffee mixers they offer, as they offered a very unique alcoholic addition to a regular coffee. This place is really amazing and creative and unique and I highly recommend it for dinner and now they are also open for brunch.

I understand that the food is locally sourced and a lot is made in house, but the high cost did not translate to the best quality and my experience was okay at best. We got the Yellowfin Tuna and Beef Tartare. Normally Been Tartare's texture isn't my favourite, but it was surprisingly good. The fish however, was not. Although I love raw fish, the taste combination was not good, especially for $23. We left hungry and not even satisfied by the food. The service was okay.

I've held off on this review for a long time because I couldn't tell if it was me or the restaurant that was eh. Overall, I recommend eating here, but think hard about what you order and how they might fit together in terms of richness and respite.I have decided its 50/50. I hadn't been to a small/plates sharing restaurant of this calibre before, so I believe my date and I strategically failed in our ordering. We got the tartare, dumplings with broccilini, and pizza. The tatare is what people say it is--amazing, life-changing, decadent. Though, I would almost say that it is a star that cannot share the floor in a two person dinner. It is RICH. The toast is loaded with some sort of fat (butter?) and the meal itself has a thick layer of aoli, happily cut with a mustardy, vinegary bite. This along with the two other foods was basically too much. It was all so rich and salty. On one hand I think my date and I picked badly, on the other I think that Biera could be a little lighter on the salt, or heavier on the balancing flavours. The dumplings were pretty bad. Super salty, with a mushy, sad texture. The brocollini was crisp though, so we ate around the dumplings. The pizza was probably not properly enjoyed as it came out last and my tastebuds we're pretty much overloaded by that point. It's gorgeously decorated, though not at all focussed on noise-dampening for quiet conversation (high ceilings, all wood/metal, close quarters). The bathrooms are written like those RX bars (2 toilets | 4 urinals | 4 sinks) which is hilarious and welcome.

Great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice selection of beers. The Zestyzee is a must if you enjoy Gemanic or Belgian based wheat beers. The food was mostly good. I would definitely recommend the beef Tartare. The house bread is sublime. Unfortunately, our steak was overcooked.

The beef tar tar was my favorite. Chicken was also very tender. A little pricier but worth it.
