Phone is no longer in service

I never even made it into this Doctor office because of the lack of friendliness on the phone. My doctor referred me to this doctor to have a nerve examination. The reception lady called me to book an appointment. She said can you come within the hour, no I can’t. Then she said okay can you come next week this date time I said no I work, but if it’s before 10am or after 5pm I can come. She said okay booked in. This was all fine except for the fact she was extremely unfriendly. I brushed it off. Then I called in yesterday to cancel my appointment for next Tuesday (almost a weeks notice) and no one answered I left a voicemail. Then they call me back 2x 15 minutes apart this morning. Clearly I’m busy or I would answer. Leave a voicemail and I will return your call. I called them back about 20 minutes later and the lady answers. Asks what I need, I said I need to cancel my appointment. She said what’s your name. Gave name. She then said well the doctor only does these exams tuesdays and he is booked solid so I’ll have to call you back when I have something available. Ok bye. The flat out comment of let me check the schedule or we can book you in ahead of time and if a cancellation occurs I’ll let you know. It’s called CUSTOMER SERVICE. Don’t make me feel like I’m the inconvenience. I have a funeral to go to on that day I was booked and you don’t know my story or life. So a tip is that their staff need to learn manners, customer service and friendliness. Try smiling on the phone. Will not be ever coming here. Asked for my requisition to be relocated.

I met Dr. Tai on May 15,18 for constant numbing pain in my lower back.I have to agree with some reviews on other sites, that his bedside manner does come off as rude.However, through my very emotional appointment (as I have been in constant pain for over a year), he started asking me questions. All the right questions. Right away I felt confident that he will try his best to help me figure out this pain.I do feel I am in good hands. My mom understood what he was saying more than me because she has a medical background and I do not.Thank you & would definitely recommend.

I had a second opinion a year after my 2020 visit to Dr. Tai. All I can say is that the results of the second opinion are vastly different from those of Dr. Tai and better allign with my symptoms. There were also alot of errors in his report, perhaps I was speaking too quickly? He is a nice man, to the point, but nice.

I have never had anxiety and for him telling me this and not answering my questions as to why i have numbness and tingling down my legs all the time and I am falling for no reason, and to respond this it to anxiety, I told him he is wrong, I am a very confident human being, and I am extreme extravert and I do not get intimidated very easily and I told him that he is wrong I do not have anxiety. I was very upset I kept asking why do I have numbness down my arms and neck as well, and all he said was its because of anxiety. I honestly don't understand why you became a doctor if you are not even going to listen to the patient. I am going to get a second opinion its sad we have to advocate very loudly for ourselves. This Man Needs to retire and I called 811 to place a complaint. This is not alright what he is doing wasting everyone's time.

I've never written a comment on the internet like this, but I am willing to do now when it comes to seeing a medical doctor (Dr. Tai), whom I met first time in 2013. Since then, I have had to see him several times. He is warm-hearted, which I feel whenever I see him. I mean to say, he seems to touch mind first and encourage me to overcome pain. I think he has a talent of 'the father' for his patients. I like him and his attitude.

Told me my symptoms were literally impossible even though they're in a textbookTold me that what I was experiencing was normal and that everyone has that (they don't)Honestly just seems like he didn't care enough to listen

I had a great experience with Dr. Tai. He was a super nice person and smart.
