Bates Park
My Favorite place is Bates Park. This is the most small but hidden park in our area. I go to the park every day in the evening and in the morning. I go for a walk in the park. I enjoy coming to the park and playing at and on the treehouse. There are many flowers and trees in this park. Many people come to this park from far away. I also play tag in the park with my friends in the evening. By coming here the fatigue of the mind is removed. I enjoy spending my time in this park. 5/5

Bates Park
Part of TransCanada Trail, it gets fairly muddy when wet. The cool part of the trail is the little tree deck that requires some climbing, and when you are close to the bridge. I wouldn't recommend ladies to come here on their own.

Bates Park
Tiny little park. Good to sit for lunch but unless you want a hike, not good for walking around.

Bates Park
Very cool place with treehouses. Climb at your own discretion. It goes pretty high. Definitely worth taking a look as it's a unique one-of-a-kind park.It is kind of steep going down as well and could be very slippery when it rains.

Bates Park
It is a small park in the northeast corner of Vancouver at the top of boundary road. There is some trails in a forested area that lead to a couple of other parks, one in Burnaby and the other to New Brighton Park. There is a couple of tree forts and there is a nice view of the rail bridge and the iron workers bridge with the mountains in the background.Bates Park is tucked into the northeast corner of the city, where the Second Narrows Bridge can be glimpsed through a tangle of native trees. Summer is an especially nice time to visit this tiny park, when dragonflies hover over the wildflowers and golden grasses that lead down to a portion of the Trans-Canada Trail.Bates Park is named for the civic-spirited owner of the property, who near the end of his life, bequeathed his most prized possession to the Vancouver Park Board. This act of generosity allowed park staff to assemble several surrounding properties and join them together for a larger greenspace in this park deficient community.
