Clore Beauty Supply - Vaughan

This is now my go to hair supply store when I need hair supplies.In comparison to BSW Beauty on Keele and Sheppard, this store is much better in terms of customer service. Even though they have security cameras and tags, they don't have people following you, and you don't feel like you're being watched like a hawk.From what everyone has mentioned, BSW Beauty on Keele and Sheppard has racist owners, and treats their customers really bad.This Clore actually lets their black workers manage the cash register, without hovering over them. The store is very clean and has a pretty good open concept.In terms of products, they have at least one of everything you might need from a beauty supply store. It may not be the brand you want, but they have it.The prices are almost expensive, which I'm guessing is because it's located in Vaughan. A small container of edge control is about $3.99.They do have a points system where you can earn from each purchase you make, but it's not the greatest. You have to spend more than $100 to even get at least $1 off.In terms of their return and exchange policy, you can only exchange items or get store credit. Which is not as helpful when you might have bought extra packs of hair. So always buy less and then go back and buy more.

I have been going to Clore Beauty for the past year and every occasion I go, I ususlly have one million questions on the hair product(s) that I am purchasing. I have received exceptional customer service everytime as the sales representatives are always very knowledgeable and helpful- walking through the aisles with me helping me select the right products.

I was genuinely greeted as I entered the store by Tiffany and Akayla who then provided great customer service on the floor and at checkout. They were both so pleasant! And it was refreshing to see that they were trusted to manage the registers - something not always seen at these stores and fot that you will get my business again.

I live way up North and this is my go to location for everything for my AA family of 4. I have never had a bad experience here. Love it!

This place will close before 7pm. I got there at 6:50. Drove 35 minutes to this location. To find out that it was closed. I arrived the same time as 3 other cars. Wondering why they would close on a Friday early.

Staff are interested in playing on the computer and ignoring customers. I didn't want to give my personal info but was told if I wanted the discount I had to. The staff told me I was giving them a hard time. 3 staff and no other customers and still bad service. The selection of products was okay not extensive and the store is small. First visit won't be back.

A few weeks ago my aunt had a terrible experience in this store. My aunt purchased some products from this location and was told that she had to wait for the employees to check her bag before leaving (to see if she stole something). She gave them the receipt, the bag with the things she bought as well as the bag she had when she entered the store. When they returned her things to her, she wasn't even offered an apology or a reason for why they suspected her. Needless to say, we'll be taking our business elsewhere.

*Edit* The last few trips have been much better and it seems like much more helpful sales people were hired. They were very helpful in assisting my wife. They also seem to have a large selection of products and the store itself is very clean.
