Looking for a nice place to relax or even have picnic or bbq. This is a nice hidden gem in Red Deer. Well kept care of. Picnic tables with fire pits. Park and even washrooms.

One of a few centrally located outdoor gathering areas easily accessible from nearly everywhere in the city as well as the trail system therein. It has picnic benches with furniture, a sheltered area overlooking the the area, public washrooms at both ends, and a short jaunt to bower ponds. There are several fire pits meaning you have a good chance of funding an open spot. Bring your own wood. One of the items making this location stand out is the terrain itself. The large open area is lower than the surrounding area giving the sense of being in an open area yet secluded from the city around.

A beautiful little park. Very well maintained and very clean. But be sure you don't need the bathroom in the evening, they lock them up a bit early.

Beautiful scenery. Lots of wildlife. Bring your food and cook it on one of the firepits with grills. Wonderful place for small or larger groups. Kid friendly with a small playground. Public washrooms arvailable.

Located just past bower ponds, this is a very nice area with many fire pits and seating areas. There is a small playground for children to play at. The trails connect to bower ponds as well as go all the way to heritage ranch. My only complaint is that the washrooms are closed for the winter. This is a commonly used area and they should be open and maintained year round

Nice, somewhat quiet park, tucked away in a corner of central Red Deer, near the Great Chief Park and Bower Ponds. Can get very busy on weekends and parking spots are hard to find.

Beautiful spot partway between bower ponds, heritage ranch, and horseshoe pond. Great area to go walking on windy days as the paths are quite sheltered, nice park and cookout/pinic areas as well!
